yes he later got the scholarship.. the decision came out 16days later.... with u of t you don't have to apply for the admission seperatly... you only have to fill out the scholarship form. both the admission and scholarship review is done once and the qualified applicants are contacted for phone interviews.

Interviews are a sure deal for U of T... A friend of mine was shortlisted and contacted for interviews by 5th.march 2016, adecision was later made on 21.march.2016... So if you have applied to u of t and still haven't been contacted in early march, you better forget about it bro.....

Did he latter get the scholarship... and you mean admission was given to him after the interview on 21 march..

,..sometimes it does..maybe they needed to contact you for the remaining documents like summary of extracurricular activities and the rest..before a decision will be made.If they decided to refuse you they must have done that since... or better still send you a denial email. Don't worry yourself,.. what is left for you is just prayer...Good luck to everyone

you don't have to worry,..its simply means your on a wait list..But I advise you visit your Minerva everyday for any update regarding the documents..

normally your status Will read..."further review required'....But it's unfortunate I haven't gotten admission....Mine is still ready for review.

hey bro, your opinion might right thou, per now I know none from Nigeria who has gotten admission offer... I know guys from Kenya, Uganda, and south Sudan. courage guys! the admission offers will be given out till late march.

I pray Nigerians will get in there this year,..including my own self..

To me, the most powerful prayers (and the ones which Jesus answers) are the ones that you come to Jesus boldly yet humbly and with true sincerity (basically what you said). But we must remember that the Lord answers prayer...but sometimes not in the way in which we expect. Sometimes when one is praying and feels helpless...all one can say is, "Jesus I believe, but help my unbelief". Or "Jesus, please help me". Or "Jesus, I can't". Sometimes that's all one can utter because the heart is so overwhelmed. And that's all that needs to be said.
The Lord knows the deep recesses of the heart...He knows the groanings that we sometimes just can't express.
Also prayers that praise God also cause Him to move on one's behalf.
I'm finding that faith prayers....(which include truly believing and calling things that haven't happened yet as though they have happened) are very powerful. Now there are conditions to receiving answered prayer, however if one has been sincerely living a life that's pleasing to God, then expect God to move. It only takes a mustard seed of faith.
Prayers don't have to include putting on a show---meaning screaming and hollering. It's necessary to be sincere...humble...and obedient.
