Every poor person that's a christian worships in a church. I hv seen ushers in churches looking haggard like street urchins y pastors wear d best clothes. People can't feed n pay their skul fees while pastors children live in abundance. The bible says"I hv never seen d righteous beg for food"is dat wat we r seeing 2day?people r suffering n dis is serious problem,some people hv died because they can't afford 2,000 drugs. No pastor suppose to sleepw hen his subjects are not doing fine,but dats not d case now. I prefer using my tithe to give d poor directly dan putting it in church..THank u

I found that this debate brought out emotions out of some of us. But it doesn't has to be like that. We should offer our opinion and back it facts and not emotions. To me, Mass Communication has more industry wide appeal. it can be aptly referred to as 'applied communication' that's why the mass media (Broadcast, Print and internet channels), Advert agencies, Public Relations outfits, and Governments agencies cannot do without them. on the other hand, Linguistic refers to a 'scientific' study of a (particular) language which can be English, yoruba, swahili etc. From experience, graduates of Linguistics are often assimilated in the teaching, academia and public service. i rest my submission.

Linguistics is not the study of particular language,that's a phonologist-just a level of linguistics. U dnt know how miscellaneous linguistics is,pls say what u know.

I studied linguistics and communication studies in uniport,both disciplines are good,but mass comm has more awareness in terms popularity in nigeria. Linguistics is more difficult and has vast disciplines under its uniform. So pls go for what ur brain can carry well without much pressure and difficulties in coping. I did different courses on both because my lecturers are mixture of both linguistics and mass communication professors and doctors. Students have problems in linguistics courses because it kinda elusive sometimes.

It seems most people dnt know the difference btw Eufa best and world best(ballon 'd or). This is Eufa best not world best.

Dis is all we do in Nigeria. Others are strengthening their country with provision of jobs,industralization,social amenities etc all we do is causing problems,sometimes i ask myself wat am i gaining from dis country?don't Ʊ guys travel abroad?cant Ʊ see d differences
