I went to the ICT unit when i had problems with my POST UTME registration and i was listening when it was said that the 2nd choicers MUST be included in the post UME. The staff said that registration for the second choicers would begin the week before post ume and that everyone who chose UNIJOS as second choice would commence registration as from the 8th of July . He was talking to second choice candidates in my presence so if something happened along the way, you cannot blame me since I heard from the horse's mouth. And except if the second choicers i met have been lying to me (which would be unfortunate), they said they registered and wrote!

so y are 2nd choice aspirant still complaining if they wrote?

nyles: I believe so. Afterall both first and second choice candidates wrote the post utme. UNIJOS CANNOT just ignore all second choicers!

nyles: The truth is that sociology candidates might be much this year, the cut off will shoot up to 60% if many do well. that is for sure. advice is to wait for the admission list. you never can tell but start preparing for other options just in case! AND no you are not in the catchment.

guy dis 1 u are telling ppl wether they will get admission or nt are u a student of uj?.pls aspirants just pray to God and have faith Matriculation will b 4 us all

nyles: unijos seems to be adopting very high standards this year just like the unilag admissions. from what the vc said a while ago. it s gonna be a little tight. this is estimated, i got this from a previous admission template; let it just guide you on what to expect but dont conclude with this please, no time to type the specific numbers; like i said , its just estimated but if your scores are a little lower than the cut offs, you ll make merit list. It is average of the post utme and jamb (50/50).if many dont do well, those who scored yet lower will make the list. if you are not from any UNIJOS catchment area, then you must have to score higher to be considered above plateau indigenes.
