lauracares: Good morning beautiful mamas n papas...Jus a brief update on my last IUI...it's was BFN ...moving on to another cycle of IUI, this will be the fifth one though the first three was a scam, the doctor never did anything, he was collecting our money n deceiving us but I knw God ll reward him....so back to this month IUI, my hubby insisted we try again,he is so in need of a baby(babies)...so confused,dnt knw wat to pray again,all I am asking now is the help n mercy of God...it is well...May God hasten his word n answer us soon.amen

Hello everyone. Please I really need urgent information on trucare fertility centre. My Hubby's office is close to that place and they are doing promo. Total cost is 600k for IVF. They took the flier to my DH office.

coffeencream: Good day,everyone. This TTC journey is so overwhelming that reading anything about it sometimes gets me depressed. I know our Lord answers us all when it's His time but sometimes I just get so sad. My HSG last september showed pelvic adhesions and I refused a laparoscopy because of fear of more adhesions. The doctors suggested ivf cuz according to them, my age is an encouragement(I'm 28 o. I no be small pikin again) and every other factor is okay,normal hormones,normal AF, perfect womb except for d adhesions which may be preventing passage of sperm. Hubby has a low sperm count but good motility n active sperms,so they say that won't be a problem. Problem is I'm scared of ivf failing, d cost n d pain one has to endure. I won't want to experience that type of pain for nothing as my body has a low treshold for pain.we registered at fusion nest in omole and the tests have been carried out. Now,to decide,hubby says he doesn't like d looks on the faces of d people that we should go somewhere else. Please how good is regenesis and what is their present cost for ivf? May God in his infinite mercy bless each and everyone of us with children that will be a source of coolness to our eyes.

lioha: hello friends! Been a while, after my 1st failed IVF I went underground and now back for good. I summoned yet another courage and went for the 2nd IVF this month. Am suppose to go for the pregnancy test on the 27th August but could not summon courage. Just this evening I did a pregnancy test on my own and it was positive, pls what do you suggest I do since am so scared of going to the hospital.

I was diagnosed of bilateral hydrosalphinx last month after a lengthy discussion with my doctor he suggested Ivf ,that what it means is dat even though my tubes are patent they are actually not healthy enough to pick egg and transport sperm. And after much research on the Internet on hydrosalphinx and ivf I found out I neeed to do a laparoscopy before the ivf , please my question is where in port harcourt can I go for this laparoscopy and also what is the cost .if am to consider doing the ivf in portharcourt which hospital is the best ivf centre in port harcourt.

Long story short. I should come in for FET for the embryos free of charge cos of their error. My people I am in a daze o! If it works e go be miracle.
If I hadn't called them I for no know plus God na em make d doc just blurt out the thing 'ehe u even have two good embryos in storage' I said how? I can't believe it up till now

I was motivated cos I saw 3 live testimonies. I cling to God and tap into this testimony for my healthy babies. Wishing you a healthy and safe nine months

I'm happy to inform you my people that I got a BFP after undergoing IVF/ICSI. I posted on this thread asking a question sometime in May when I was preparing for the cycle. To God be the glory that it was a success; and IT WAS OUR FIRST ATTEMPT. God is indeed FAITHFUL and will visit you all my Sisters and Brothers. Just hold on, it won't be long. You'l all testify/sing a new song.

LadyGuinivere: I'm thinking of india since its relatively cheaper. I wish I had HMO. Dr Emeka is good,at least u get to talk to him unlike most docs

awesomemum1: Hello Everyone, l have been a religious silent reader on this great forum, as a matter of fact anything i seems to get discouraged coming to this forum gives me the strenght to move on. I have been ttc for over 4 years,had myomectomy in 2012,tried clomid cycles severally. DH initially did not approve of ivf because of the negative stories he is hearing abt it. He recently agreed after so much persuassion, i just did the hysteroscopy and i must say that i was very unhappy with the result, was told that there is a fibroid growing again and that the uterus is unable to retain fluid coupled with a blocked right tube(tears rolling). I am currently using garki hospital.

Please has anyone gone through what am going through. I am honestly in a confused and sad state of mind.

And I advise all new members 2 do same as u will learn a lot & it'll avoid u asking questions which has already been answered in previous notes. I jotted lots of notes, laffed a lot & at a point felt I was in one Big Broda or rather Big Sister's house or one of these reality shows. yes, some companies now pay full or half of the ivf cost. the HMO is depend on the company Nogen, not all companies have such agreement with their respective HMOs.

mine pay 500K of the ivf cost and HMO also pay a part of the cost on the condition that you must have tried naturally for 3-4years i think.

so at the end you might not pay a kobo. you are good if you take in in your first try.
