Former Nollywood actress, Ex-Beauty queen, Regina Askia-Williams (formerly Regina Askia) in a recent interview talks about the secret of her marriage and reasons she left the movie industry to become a practising nurse in the United States of America.

On why she became a nurse in USA: “There comes a point in everybody’s life when you begin to wonder what meaning you have made of your life. We have all been put in this world to make a difference to humanity and leave this world a little better than we met it. The way we choose to do this leaves us fulfilled or unfulfilled. Caring for someone as a nurse gives me the experience and skills to make a practical difference, and I love that.

On her male admirers: ” I don’t have people trying to be funny. I appreciate they respect me enough not to go there, understanding that I am with someone on whatever terms we both have agreed on.

Beauty secrets: “Inner beauty will always replenish the outward looks. Be at peace with yourself and with the universe. Be positive. Let your God-self come through. Let go and let God.”

Popular Enugu State born actor, Daniel K Daniel in a recent interview talked about the challenges he passed through as a new face in the entertainment industry, his ideal woman, love life and other related issues.

No doubt, DKD is a fine boy actor, female fans would love you so dearly, how do you cope with some ‘crazy ones’?
Well, I don’t have to cope with them. I respect them a whole lot. The male celebrities have more female fans and vice versa. The fact that female fans want me, make movie producers, directors to put me in their movies.
I adore my female fans a whole lots. Sometimes, some girls would see me and start jumping on me, it’s part of the joy of stardom. It comes with the job.
Most times, they would want to forcefully take pictures, then you just have to pose and smile, even if you’re not in the mood.

Do you have a celebrity crush?
No I don’t. Not at all. Nobody is on top of my head that I want to be with, or see or act with, nobody! I just take the jobs as they come.

Would you date or marry from the industry?
No! I won’t! I’m very sure I won’t!

In a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune, Nollywood veteran actor, Jide Kosoko opened up on the loss of his wife, among other issues. Recall, The former President of Association of Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), who returned to acting days back lost his wife, Henrietta recently.

It is more than 41 days since you lost your wife, Henrietta. It is on record that you have resumed work. How have you been coping with life without her?

When you say how I have been coping, honestly I don’t know how to answer that question. I don’t know if I should tell you I have been fine or otherwise. I can only say God has been my rock till this moment. The truth is that I am yet to come to terms with the reality that she is no more. I don’t want to believe that she is gone. So many things have been coming up since she passed away and I know things will continue like that for some time.
What are the things that have been coming up?

Do you regret being a polygamist?
Let me tell you, I don’t pray that my enemy should practice polygamy. And, this should be a lesson to the young ones coming. I know some people will say their religion permits it, but the religion did not enforce it. I have serious business to do now. I have young children to take care of.
