A popular author called Brian Tracy in his best selling book "NO EXCUSE" talked about a period in his life where he totally came into agreement with his mind that nothing is going to change in his life if he chooses not to actualize changes through his mind and demonstrate it towards taking actions. He discovered that he's not going to make headways at any given time if he keeps hoping without deliberate actions. At a point in my life, I was so confined to the norms surrounding me I relied so much on "GRACE" that has been abused through mental laziness, I was so handicapped to the point that I couldn't make a strong decision and watch it being actualized. I felt so desirous to change my status quo, but i fear the process, I couldn't imagine myself getting used to a new way of living, trying to replace bad living habits with good ones, without knowing that it is the utmost characteristics of human nature to advance in Life. At that point I came to realize that nothing is going to change in my life if I continue in my old habits that repels me from reaching my goals and aspirations. I came into the conclusion that the moment of decision is the moment of destiny In all my wandering, I discovered that I have waited for too long hoping that things will get better by themselves, I actually abused GRACE, I depended on an automated character mechanism which has deluded me from doing the needful. I discovered that we were saved through GRACE to work out our salvation unto perfection and actualize our God's given potentials. You can't keep dreaming all day, planning all day, and folding your hands hoping things will work out for you You have to put Grace outside and work out results. to be continued...... Wednesday night was a great night for football lovers all over the world as two European football club Giants (FC Barcelona and Liverpool FC) met in the UEFA champions league semi finals. Although, in the contemporary football World, FC Barcelona have more incredible records than Liverpool in relation to European football competition, but not withstanding, Liverpool was willing to take the bull by the horn irrespective of the outstanding record of FC Barcelona in champions league Finals. The game was tough, the players gave the best of their ability, fans of the both teams were in dilemma trembling In Ernest expectation to see their team taking the lead. African Best player Mohammed salah gave an outstanding performance that got people talking and likely to compare him with Lionel Messi a 5times FIFA world best player. 90minutes decided it all and the best team prevailed becoming the winner to secure a better advantage at anfield. Liverpool FC on the other side got an impressive game style that dazed the World, who could imagine that Liverpool would have fought so tough becoming a hard nut for a word class team like FC Barcelona to crack? They played with DETERMINATION.. Determination is simply the quality of mind which reaches definite conclusions, decisions of character and resoluteness towards achieving a task. Most people do not crack hard at what they want at any given time and so they get tired along the way losing their strongwill power and then fading out at what they pursue. They decide with their heart but their mind is so far from their decision and this has resulted to poor input service and low output results. The business of the world lies in achievement and achievement can only come through determination, nothing good comes easy. In achievement we assess our progress in Life and without it we are doomed to stagnation. When we are not resolute, we tend to give up so easily Being determined doesn't come with flawlessness, sometimes you win immediately and sometimes the victory you seek lies ahead and keeps telling you never to give up for it's waiting for you. There are 3 elements of determination 1. DECISION - You decide on what you want to be determined on 2. FAITH- The act of believing it will turnout good when all it seems is the opposite. Where there is Faith hopes are restored. 3. PERSISTENCE- Repeating the behavior to fight and keep fighting until victory has been attained If you actually missed the first leg of the first leg semi-finals of the UEFA champions league, the return leg at ANFIELD (Liverpool's Arena) will be coming up on the 7th of MAY 2019.
