themosthigh: This is a law I completely support. Chinese companies have been winning all the contracts worldwide through bribery while USA tied her own arms with moralizing. I agree. Now, we can extend the same to contracts locally and within the oil companies, like Exxon. |

Irony1: Oga this gaslighting format is stale. You have not clarified why NNPC is opaque about fuel importation, whereas they have said that PH and Warri refineries are running. I asked why it is a problem that they are importing. Let us hear why. |
Politics › Re: US Companies Can Now Bribe Officials In Nigeria, Other Countries by Golan007: 11:43am On Feb 12, 2025 |
SmartPolician: Let's be honest, that law shouldn't be in existence in the first place. Every country wants their companies to win deals, make money and bring a lot more home. That way, the companies can create jobs and pay huge taxes to the government. If American companies are involved in unethical practices overseas, the foreign government should prosecute them. Trump needs money to reposition Trump Country! Now that America champions it, it is not a crime or unethical. Why should it be a crime for individuals then? |

It is not a crime.

Breaker001: That is what happens when business men venture into politics. It is their business that suffers for it. However, Tesla will bounce back because of its disruptive model approach, and peculiarity. It will not bounce back. BYD is selling more electric cars in China and Europe. Traditional automakers are already making inroads into the electric market, quite well at that. Europe has began to speak. California, which is both liberal, and the traditional market for Tesla sales has began to boycott Tesla. That company is toast. |
Politics › Re: 136.7m Litres Of Petrol Imported In One Day – Daily Trust by Golan007: 11:11am On Feb 12, 2025 |
Irony1: Oga stop trying to be smart. The issue here is the level of transparency here. We know that you cannot import to store or to blend and resell. But the same NNPC say PH and Warri refinery are producing and dangote has ramped up sales. Assuming the demand is met by a quarter. How do you justify the huge volume being imported? Why is this a problem, though? |

Jeff Bezos is launching his own version of starlink soon, people will start dropping his expensive stuff.
Most Tesla drivers are now ashamed to drive the car cos of his stupiiidity. I was even thinking of buying the car at some point, I can't be bothered now. He is just extremely lucky to be rich, he is way too erratic. Project Kuiper. The Canadian province of Ontario has decided to pull the plug the 100 million Dollar contract they were set to award Starlink. |

Have some conscience and fear God. It is better you were quiet than trying to justify this BS. Why can't we use what the 'sane climes' do to figure out what may be happening locally? |

wonlasewonimi: He is one of the dumbest living billionaires. How can a business man willingly destroy the sales of his product by interfering in politics across the globe where people buy your stuff.
If openai accepts his offer, he woukd need to sell significant tsla shares to finance it thereby tanking share price. He doesn't even make money from real sales but from speculators. Apart from Starlink, which is a quite recent development, how many of his businesses do most people patronise? Twitter would never make money. SpaceX gets government contracts which would be limited unless they go into arms production. Tesla shares are way overvalued, with other electric cars making more sales around the world. |

It is not entirely clear what the US will be requesting in return If they will be rebuilding Gaza, considering the fact that the US also represents Isreal's interest. It'd become clearer when the terms of agreement is made public if the Palestinian leadership agrees to it. Word salad. |
