A lot of conversations around virginity in Nigeria focus on what a woman “owes” a man. But the truth is simple: sexual purity is first a gift a woman gives to herself, not anybody else.

When a young woman avoids early sex, she’s protecting her own future no early pregnancy, no STDs, fewer emotional scars, and a clearer head to build her life.

Another point many people still misunderstand: not every woman bleeds during her first sexual experience. The hymen is not a “seal” but a thin, stretchy tissue that differs from person to person. Sports, cycling, stretching, medical exams, and even tampon use can affect it. So bleeding (or not bleeding) is not proof of anything.

So I noticed in my last post, that a lot of guys just find it hard to believe I am literally a girl Nairalander that enjoys football, even politics.

In my last posts you'd see guys saying things like she's a scam, a girl can't do that, she's most active in male sections bla bla bla and that's actually why I am posting this in crime section because misogynistic men like that are just ruining my brand here on Nairaland, making it seem like this is only a forum for men.

So to start with I think I am becoming a legend at this🤣 Just few weeks ago I killed a snake o

These monitor lizards (if that's what they are called) are actually common around our place (dry season and all + our house is in a developing area not too much urbanization going on) ever since I came back home briefly I see them around almost everyday.

This particular one seem to be living in our store/generator house. We've seen it run out a few times.

But today hearing how it was disturbing and scattering things in there, I took a pestle, tiptoed, kicked the door opened, with my leg expecting it to run out so I can smash it but lol it didn't even run out, I think it panicked, kept hitting it's head on some sort of sack we have hanging around.

Mustered some courage, smashed it, dropped the pestle and ran! 🤣

Then a Mallam came around, lives nearby and we called him in the past to help us kpai a larger monitor lizard that ate our GSD puppy😭 so I told my sis to go call him again.

When he arrived he simply pulled it out, said I killed it already 🫡🫡🫡 long story short, right there in our backyard, baba turned it to asun oo😋❤️

BTW thanks to everyone who checked up on me following this kwara terrorist attacks and all🙏
