Nigeria football has one problem,just one problem and it's the NFF,the body that is supposed to set and guide the sport in the right direction has become the very organisation dragging the progress of the game in Nigeria due to the gross and unforgiven incompetence of the people in the glass house.
This is a call for the immediate and total overhaul of the NFF,those people in the glass house that have led us to this sorry state must GO.

Nigeria would become one of CAF's two representatives in the FIFA Play-Off Tournament. CAF has two places in that tournament.

The tournament has 10 teams competing for only 3 World Cup places:

🇦🇫/🇦🇺 AFC: 2 teams
🌍 CAF: 2 teams — potentially Nigeria
🌎 CONCACAF: 2 teams
🇧🇷 South America (CONMEBOL): 2 teams
🌊 OFC: 1 team
🇪🇺 UEFA: 1 team

But it is not simply 10 teams in one knockout bracket.

How it works

Phase 1 — November/December 2026

Six teams play at a centralised venue:

2 AFC + 2 CAF + 1 CONMEBOL + 1 OFC

They are ranked according to the FIFA Women's World Ranking before the draw. The top two teams from this phase advance to Phase 2.

So, if Nigeria is one of CAF's representatives, Nigeria would have to perform well enough in this first phase to reach the second phase.

Phase 2 — February 2027

The two teams that survive Phase 1 join:

2 CONCACAF teams
1 CONMEBOL team
1 UEFA team

That gives 6 teams.

They are drawn into 3 separate paths, with one direct knockout match in each path.

🏆 The 3 winners qualify for the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil.

Thats what i see and not so much a case of we have seriously declined.
The only fairly easy game was Egypt.

All this hate on Madugu and our indigenous players is disgusting.
it speaks of inferiority complex when we constantly only call for foreign coach, and naturalization of foreign born players as the way forwar.

Let's keep calm and support the team towards the playoff qualifier game vs south Africa.

If you can give $10k for one goal then you should be able to pay at least $30 to 50k per month for a Quality Coach who’s willing and ready 💯 to coach the team..

I have said it severally until people start getting sanction / punish for incompetency and complacency nothing will change .
The team was setup to fail from the start, the head of NFF and his entire team need to go.
This is the minimum thing that needs to happen then we can start looking at the coach and his team.

Turns out his suspicions weren't totally unfounded. We as a nation just have to do away with age-cheating. The lack of integrity is nauseating.

These guys don't look 18 or U18 to me,the people that cleared them to represent us in U 18 competition need to be sacked because we can't just continue doing things the wrong way.

If you do your research in terms of acquiring a UAV; Say a Chinese CH-4 drone for example; In terms of cost, the CH-4 is tripple the amount of a Diamond DA42 MPP but in terms of maintenance the CH-4 is way lesser and easy to maintain. ALthough it might require frquent software upgrades.
Dont forget that a UAV system needs other infrastructure that has to be put in place for its proper function like;
-Ground Control Station (GCS)
-Satellite Communication (SATCOM) terminal
-Data link antennas/Mission planning system etc And all these fore-mentioned above needs maintenance and upgrades also, dont forget that the NAF is used to the Diamond DA42 MPP.
Ill say the platform the Oyo state government choose, was properly acquired choosen..

I personally prefer an unmanned surveillance aircraft but this is better than doing nothing.

It was Maiduguri's terrible formation that cost us the game! The girls are good. If we get the formation right, this Super Falcons team is still the most dangerous in the tournament by far.

Check the starting forwards we had in this game. It's the exact same starting forwards we used against Morocco during the first half of the last final. And you saw the way we struggled. The man only has hot breeze in his head and belle. Nothing gum that man tactically.

If we get the formation right, we can still punish teams at this WAFCON. The question now is, will the maestro get the formation right heading into the Zambia game? I doubt it, unless he gets emergency backup like I'm hearing now from the camp.
