If you really need to start, you would start by asking your self why am I going for this discipline, what software to use, how are they used and what are they used for. We have 3d softwares like MAYA, BLENBDER, 3ds MAX and many more.
Pls google your question and stop diving into this thread.

Every character model used here must be built by one self and the modeler must be able to give brief/synopsis of his/her project(that is 'model').
The proposed storyline by "OKX" is perfect but we really need to model : the street, car(s), restaurant building, male model, female model and all needed objects for the restaurant.

lets face it, we all reside at different points on this country's map......if we do teams....how will the team members converge? If i reside in Anambra and my Team members are all scattered about in this country, it would be difficult for each person to pull the finance to converge at a particular place?.
And video conferencing is expensive in this country....definitely not an option?

Get it cleared that 3ds animation is one of the hardest discipline in the world. There is no easy way to it that is why people shy away from it. In present days people would love to get money real fast than wait for 2 or more years to build their experience. The fact still remain that there is no master in animation but there is experience gotten from constant practise. This is my second year in 3ds max animation. Am using the traditional animation skill for a start but still known to some enhancing tools for fast production. I have modeled and animated few project my self from scratch no importing from others.
