PropertiesRe: Decent Flats To Let Around Egbeda, Shasha, Ikeja, Ojodu, Alimosho, Iyana Ipaja, by Goodking(m): 6:11pm On Jan 31, 2012
I think the easy way is to show the pictures of the flats not the building (if you wish) on www.search4rooms.com. The website is really getting popular among folks. You hardly get spammed via the site.

This is a great tool for students in the higher institution. They can actually use the platform to find rooms or roommates.

I have to be convinced.
PropertiesNigerians Can Search For Accommodations Online, Not Going From Street To Street. by Goodking(op): 2:15am On Jan 30, 2012
Nigerians do not normally think of going online to search for accommodations. Most people go from street to street asking by the word of the mouth if there is an available room or flat to let. The others prefer asking for estate agents to get an apartment for them. Some also depend on relations or friends for contacts. Any of the above mentioned method is time consuming and takes a lot of effort and money to run.

With the advent of the internet, many applications have been developed to make life easier. About 40 million Nigerians visit the internet. What do they do online? Not even 1% of those search for accommodation even when they need one.

For this reason, a Young Nigerian Innovator decided to solve the accommodation-search problem. The service is free.

Some of the problems include:

people complain ,

"I have wandered for too long and spent a lot of money looking for a new apartment in Lagos".

"I have a room to share in a student's hostel, but how do I place an ad in order to find the right person for a roommate?"

"I need a room to stay because I got admitted to a Nigerian university/polytechnic"

"I have finished my storied building, but I need to select from a wide variety of prospective tenants, what do I do?"

"I have an flat to let immediately, I do not want to wait for too long, how can I make it?"

           ,  and many more

The Solution:

www.search4rooms.com is specifically designed for Nigeria. You can post or search for an apartment to let on this site. Whether it is a room, flat, hotel room, office space, warehouse or student apartment, www.search4rooms.com is the right place for advertising and searching in all states, universities and polytechnics in Nigeria.
The website is easy to use. If you are searching, just click on the state that you want or search all over Nigeria by clicking "Find accommodations". If you are posting or placing an advert, just fill a short for form.
You are most welcome to leave a feedback (please see the green button to the left of the homepage).

PoliticsRe: Igbo Killing In Kano Is False - Okorocha by Goodking(m): 10:17am On Jan 27, 2012
Rhino.5dm:
You will never see those dimwits here. Notable among them is the goat headed egocentric nutcase called Onlytruthlies and his Olodos brothers. I still wonder why all of those scare mongers decided to stay away from this thread. When governor Nyako said the 13 Igbos guys murdered WERE not targeted by boko haram, they came all out attacking him with all sorts of demeaning names. The goons went further to called him a silent-boko haram member and sponsor. Now, we expect them to come out of  their caves to attack Rochas  okorocha or atleast brand him traitor orboko haram apologist.

The other chimp monk came out of the gutter to accuse me of supporting Boko Haram, simply because i presented a different views from his.

So, all the e-mails and text massages sent to the east are all SCAM! shocked.
Interesting! Maybe the whole bombing stories is a SCAM. Please educate us the more.
I think Rochas is only trying to avert reprisal attacks. Nothing more,
15 corpses were just buried in Anambra state all from the same attack in Kano. Maybe they just died, or maybe they are from your local government.
I had expected contributors to sensitive threads in NL to be matured. If you are not sure of something, keep your mouth shut or at least make an EDUCATED GUESS.
PropertiesRe: Land Fraudsters Tricks I Learnt In 2010 And Tips On How To Avoid Them This 2011 by Goodking(m): 3:03am On Jan 21, 2012
Really nice advice. The same applies to people searching for apartments. Great care should be exercised. Don't be in a hurry to move in. Due diligence will do a great deal. Ask neighbours. Landed properties is more susceptible to fraud than houses and apartments. That was what saved your friend.
www.search4rooms.com could help people who want to avoid the agent "wahala". Homeowners can find tenants directly and home seekers can easily do their search and confirm the accommodation anywhere in Nigeria.

@lawyer, Please, update us on the 2012 rules as the 419 people advance by day. Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Police Destroy Six Illegal Refineries In Abia by Goodking(m): 4:17pm On Jun 10, 2011
KenGali:
This is like the 20th time am hearing of Illegal refineries, and its always ironic. But what baffles me is how the supposedly responsible  leaders cannot do something about this. At times like this I really wish am in control of the power:

If the Abia state Government does not know, let me put it straight:

Abia state government needs to harness this opportunity to launch a refining industrial sector.

There is no rule that says every refinery must be gigantic and complex: The rule should be about its safe operation.

The technology they are practicing is simple atmospheric distillation of crude, they are left with a by product that still needs further cracking to produce more PMS, AGO and DPK.

1. Abia state government should put together a team of experts (Many chemical and Petro-chemical Academics, there are plenty in UNN who are well versed in this) to establish safety modalities for the operation, construction and location of simple Atmospheric distillation refineries.

2. Pass these standards through Nigerian Department of Petroleum Resources for Approval. Hence making them legal for operation.

3. Map out an industrial estate or layout and get the necessary Ministry of Environment approval for the locations.

4. Allow individual investors to construct their Drum refineries to the Approved but uncomplicated and low cost standard, locate in the approved areas.

5. Arrange to have a simple cracking facility installed each Refining Estate. Then pipe all the by products from the various Atmospheric     Refining units to the Cracking facility for further processing.

4. Alternatively they can export the by products to old European refineries which concentrate in Cracking the by products of Atmospheric distillation of crude.

5. Aim at buying up any crude produced in Abia state, by erecting a legal hurdle of right of first refusal against the oil companies.

6. Refine Crude produced in Abia state this way, howbeit at low profit margin, but creating thousands of jobs for her teaming job seekers.

7. Seek to standardize products by testing with labs and export to other African countries, who do not care how complex the producing refineries are.

What am suggesting is a simple modular refining arrangement used in India etc. only with less advanced refining system. What those drum pipes are doing is exactly what the Big Nigerian Refineries are doing without Fluid Catalytic Crackers. Infact some people are rich in Nigeria by making the Big Refineries not to crack, and sell of the by products which are given to them at cheap giveaway prices from the refineries, they are almost as good as 40-60% of crude oil.
A valid argument and sensible contribution indeed!

This should have been a state-secret if Nigeria is one. America has similar illegal deeds which they often harness without putting it on the media or daring to destroy anything.

The NPF's reaction is simply a no-brain action. They know no formular.

This is why many of us here seldomly considers coming back to a country where the law is only made for the poor and the unfurnate. The rich say "NEVER GET CAUGHT" but the poor say "GOD HELP US". What an irony. Nigeria is not coming close to being one. I sense  some sentiments in the action taken by the NPF. They should have been taken to the court of law first before exhibiting ABSOLUTE MADNESS.

Before you make a comment, ask yourself this question "What is the benefit from this destruction?". I think the white man had also put an element of self-destruction in our system not only by colonization but by monitoring and sabotaging our progress. Wake up! you young man and rethink!
CelebritiesRe: Dauda Is A Woman Beater! by Goodking(m): 2:57pm On Dec 13, 2010
googles:
Excuse you wat exactly is your point ? undecided wat statement huh

I dont like Uche watever her name is but please lets use common sense here. . . wat statement made you conclude shez mannerless ? they told her

her work there is done and she went to remove the hair wat crime has she committed to be served a hot slap ? huh Dauda is a foooooool for hitting her

bloody spineless woman-hitter angry angry angry
@googles I think you are taking this matter personal. "Dauda is a foooooool" means what. What is a woman-hitter? You need to grow up (I don't mean any insult here). The point I made was that Man hitting a woman and a Woman hitting a man is the same. Gender equality holds here. You are only trying to garner some pity for the misbehaving actress. Please come off it!
CelebritiesRe: Dauda Is A Woman Beater! by Goodking(m): 1:53pm On Dec 12, 2010
The girl in question sounds very disrespectful in her statement. Though Dauda would be wrong if he did hit her, she lacks mannerism (I don't know her but words speak a million things). "Two wrongs does not make a right". There would have been better way of handling this type of mess from a so called actress. No complete payment until she finishes her job is a good one. Also she should be able to pay for damages (in terms of time wasted and money spent for re fixing her hair). Why would she report to the police? of course she is aware of her misconduct!

Don't be sexually biased! Woman hitting man and Man hitting woman constitutes the same OFFENSE!
