Health › Re: HIV Positive Partner: Be Honest, Would You Stay Or Walk Away? by Goodlady(f): 12:56pm On Nov 27, 2025
RetroviralS:
Be honest… what would you do if the person you love tested HIV positive today?

Would you still hold their hand or would you walk away?

A> I’d walk away, I’m not ready

B> I'd Stay, love is stronger than fear

C> I’d need time, it’s not easy

Every day, we see people face this exact moment —a heartbeat between love and fear. Let's be real, its not easy to make a decision when it involves matters of the heart.

Vote honestly in the comment section. Let’s start the kind of conversation that speaks reality.
Noitpo A!

Politics › Re: Southeast Agitation Will Not End, Even If Nnamdi Kanu Is Executed - Senator by Goodlady(f): 2:57pm On Nov 26, 2025
There's a need for SE leaders to get their house in order and speak with one voice. SW leaders rallied round Ighoho to an extent. But the advise to any freedom fighter or someone doing liberation is: No let them rope you with treason or you saying or doing anything related to treason. It's the easiest trap to trap people with potentials. May our lights not go dim, amen.

He needs to remind people he's Igbo because if this same man was involved with crime, the government of Tinubu will instruct Abike Dabiri to make sure the whole world knows he's Igbo.
Both are wrong. If indeed Dabri dey use style shade Igbos she's wrong too.

Lifestone:
It will still be best to check with the Police and ensure there are no remnants of the case left behind.
But people should be careful what the say. He could have put Don Jazzy into trouble
Na talk like this wan ruin one Eraser Holubee of Paystalk o. They opened his old tweets and gbam. Things fell apart. Naso one corper too misyarn about tasting young girls. As an advocate against rape, that young corper will spend long time convincing people he's not a cradle robber. Same with Akpi. That one too always reveal his fetish for having sex with young girls.
The internet never forgets. This publicity of Done Janzzy by Buykulinkuli may impact him negatively. No publicity is bad to some people but some shouldn't be revealed.

Impressive CV.
Racoon:
Nice one there for the SE. I used to see Prof Ogan Labour Ward in the new UNTH @Ituku Ozalla but it is recently I got to understand that it was in honour of this late academic sage. Rest on sir.

It is interesting to note that the SE too as a region has also produced its own share of the gurus in every spheres of medicine. I was informed of Prof Gilbert Onugulichi, Prof Emeritus Iloabache, Prof. Ozumba
You actually don't need to remind people he's from SE. He's just a Nigerian. What's the difference between you, FreeStuffsNG, RichTaiwo abi na PoørTaiwo, Yarimo and Seunmsg? All of you are data boys.
If other tribes start to dey show off achievements you will keep quiet.

Culture › Things Nigerians Do That Should Stop by Goodlady(op):
Some people here said I am a bad girl cos I shared my opinion here in my last post:
https://www.nairaland.com/8564058/cant-respect-man-thats-not
I am a goodlady that you d dream of marrying. I just want to define my wants so don't be offended. Show me love.

Now to the topic:
Things Nigerians Do That Should Stop. Or should I say things Nigerians do that made us look bad. Or things happening in Nigeria that paint is bad.
The country hard kokroko like fish eyes but amidst it we still dey survive the hustle.
There are some things I v noticed as I dey grow up. Small girl big God, my eyes are filled with different life exposure in Abuja.
So I will list some of those things and you're free to add yours. I go claim first two post, use the second post as back up to update in case mods carry this thread from the front page.

* Open defecation by roadside, bush or public places: Yes you heard me right. People still dey shit for open spaces, pedestrian bridges at night or midnight, shit inside shallow rivers and any small bush part. Naso this primitive reach? FG should read riot act on open defecation. Abi how dem dey talk am?

* Using the word (DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM or WHO ARE YOU) to threaten, damn consequences or avoid accountability or judgement: This is a popular phrase when they're showing off power especially when it's between the rich and poor. You go gear the rich or influential one telling the poor that do you know who I am? I go kpain you and nothing will happen. You go disappear etc. Haba are you God? Person wey HBP fit carry on the spot and slump to kpain na hin dey threaten another person. Most cases, na the person dishing threats dey at fault. It's a thing that must stop. Like make FG make moves to curb it.

* Bribe Culture & Corrupt Practices: A lot is needed to be done about this. Almost every sector suffer from this. In fact it's now in cultures that you have to grease palms before getting access. So bad it has to stop. People must be able to merit of get what to they're qualified to get without bribing.

* Using Connection/Long Leg, Runs To Get Posts Or Achievement: Nigeria should have grown to a stage where children of nobody can somebody. People should be able to merit what they're qualified for without connection.

* Fights Between Security Agencies: Shame dey always catch me when I read in news clashes btw army and police or police and NSCDC, army and DSS or with other para military and security agencies. It's a shame.

* Lack of Doctors & Medical Personnel:
Why should Nigeria be lacking doctors when there's enough manpower? No be say the students are to dull to study medicine but the system just dey shortchange them. The few that graduated few years ago have japa. What's govt doing about the renumeration and welfare of health workers to make the work more attractive to them in order to stay back home?

* Dumping refuse anyhow, anywhere:
In fact, this is very terrible.
Thia can be used to determine the neatness and dirtiness of some state.

* Glorifying Criminals: This is a sad truth. A situation where some parent encourage their kids to do Yahoo fraud or a community celebrating and welcoming back a criminal. What about justifying crimes as if na for competition. Like the recent events in the country where some are lying about events that happened and has evidence until a foreign country shook mouth.

* Rude Health Workers Vs Rude Patient:
We have seen hospital staff that have suffered assaults and some cases it's patients that their rights will be infringed. In a country wey get leaders o.

* Sharing money, food, gifts during elections: Why should politicians share money during elections? It's like saying they're paying people to vote for them. Any politician willing to do philanthropy should have done that months before period of election or after election. Sharing money or gifts during election time send wrong signals to the sane world and as well to brains of voters. Politicians that do share money during election will do their harvest when they're elected. It's common sense.

* Celebrating UP NEPA: Why you go dey jubilate cos power that you're paying for is restored? Are people so adapted to suffering? Or a kinda Stockholm Syndrome is in their system that's making them to love deeply their abusers. I have never screamed UP NEPA before. Never! Am not used to poverty life.

Culture › Re: Court Stops Burial Of Abia Monarch, Prof. Sam Ajiri; Orders Autopsy by Goodlady(f): 9:01am On Nov 26, 2025
The autopsy will likely be done if it was the consent of the immediate family, legal wife to be precise.
But if there's clash between her and the family, it go long. She ll likely win if she get her facts right.
That's why am an advocate of court marriage. It gives us a leverage when situation like this occur.

The goddess has spoken.
