Flight from Ethiopia airline for (mother & infant) = 650£. HOTEL (mother & infant) 300£. Feeding (mother & infant) 350£. Transport & sightseeing (mother & infant) 500£ miscellaneous 200£. Total = 2000£

Please gurus in the house is this budget analysis okay?

Because they said it's a new rule on like before that we just scan only the passport first page

I and my 3 yrs old daughter want to visit u.k for holiday in June this year and my daughter is a student of nursery school,my question is,do I need to go and collect permission letter from the school principal to show she will be resuming for school after the visit?

Will it boost ur chance of getting the visa?

6 months visa alert for my retired mum!!! She went for her biometrics at Ikeja on the 5th of January, and we got an email/SMS notification that her passport was ready for collection on the 12th of January.

This is her second time applying for the U.K visa, the last time was in 2019, and she travelled with my dad for a work Conference at the time. I assisted her with the application and chose the self-upload option, and these were the documents I provided.

Passport document(I scanned all the pages of her passport as instructed on the VFS page)
Past visa(Expired U.K visa) and existing visas (She has a valid U.S & Canadian visitor's visa)
Home ownership document and Utility bill
National ID card
Hotel reservation
My dad is her sponsor, he has a business and also lectures so I provided his Bank statement, Bank reference, CAC documents, Tax clearance, (Business), Work ID, Letter of employment (Lecturing)
Sponsor's passport data page and existing visas (he has a valid U.S & Canadian visitor's visa too)
Her Bank statement and Pension statement
Letter of explanation of her finances for huge amounts
Reference letter from her bank
Marriage Certificate, Wedding Pictures, & Family pictures
Pictures from their last trip to the U.K.
Cover letter/Self-introductory letter
Sponsor's letter stating he will be bearing all the cost of the trip
Proof of application
Degree Certificate (wasn't necessary, I was just being extra)

It's not true, but only ur wedding certificate that will be legaliized with stamp and it's charge 7k. If you are travel with minor,there birth certificate will also be legaliized with 7k per child.then all documents should be in color copy

Don't do that, they will send you away, wait until it is going,let me check for you and no if I can assist you, personal I still have south Africa valid visa

Please house when I try to verified my CAC to no if it's active,the response is no record found, so I try to contacted my CAC agent to assist me,when my CAC agent verified it,it was active,my CAC agent now told me that,the CAC are updating their site and so many CAC have issues on general website, he said, he was able to verified it because he uses cac agent website,the general cac website has issues now

My question, is UK also using CAC agent website to verified applicants CAC certificates?

Actually,I am not a visa agent,my question may be too much because I don't want my family of three to be refused,as they say failure to plan is plan to failed.besides we are applying by February ending next year for Easter vacation, you can see there no time to waste.


1) Please, lastly do you write budget analysis in ur application form,if yes,how did you write it in each person application form?

2) You and ur family have you travel together to other country before?

3) how many days is ur visit?

4) Did you book hotel reservations for your visa application and is how many pounds?

I just got a 6 months visit visa for myself, wife and 3 kids. These are my observations with respect to the process.

1. You can write one sponsorship letter and give the details of all the persons you want to sponsor and the amount per person

2. Applications are filled and submitted seperately for each child

3. Minimum time for application for a visit visa is 90 days or less to your date of travel

Wat city in d UK are you going to first of all.... That is wat will determine ur basic traveling allowance... Another thing to consider is taking a 1 year old child into winter season,, UKVI might see that differently,, unless you are planning to go after winter

The reason I ask is to get a reasonable amount because I have seen on this forum when someone was refused on the grand that 1300pounce for 7days visit is too small, and also I have seen a person has also be refused on the grand that his budget is too high .
