Previously Settled At Emene in
Enugu
Over one hundred (100) fully loaded tricycles and vehicles
were spotted rapidly moving
out from the rural areas of
Emene in Enugu, Biafraland,
this Monday 24th August 2020
morning. There was heavy military escort, giving
protection to the Fulanis
moving out in their numbers,
from the area.
On Sunday 23rd August 2020,
combined heavily armed security operatives illegally,
forcefully and callously
invaded an enclosure where
unarmed innocent family
members of the Indigenous
People of Biafra (IPOB), were peacefully praying and
worshipping God. The armed
officers shot, maiming, killing
and arresting many of them.
The law abiding, peaceful IPOB
members did not in anyway, found contravening any known
law when the blood thirsty
and trigger happy Nigerian
security forces, despicably
stormed the meeting venue
and sporadically, opened fire at the family members. Four of
them were this morning,
confirmed dead, with several
others, sustaining varying
degrees of bullet wounds.
The evacuation of the marauding Fulanis is coming
on the hills of the
announcement of the IPOB
leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
during his live global broadcast
on Radio Biafra, last Sunday 23rd August, 2020. The
broadcast dwealt majorly on
the incessant and unprovoked
killing of IPOB family members
in Emene, Enugu State. Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu had pointedly stated that the Nigerian
security forces would never go
unpunished for unleashing
mayhem against unarmed
innocent IPOB family members.
