Abuja is transforming rapidly, and one of the clearest signs is its expanding road network.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lH6K77wm55I

In this video, I take you on a drive through some of Abuja’s newly commissioned road projects, including the Jahi–Gwarinpa Interchange, Katampe Road, Jahi, and the Nyanya–University of Abuja Road. Cut them a slack. It is a 5th World country run on generators. They will brag about anything. Even an overpass is a big deal. Common road construction is greeted with huge fanfare. Perhaps it is the audacity to post this as the busiest business district that's shocking.

Come and beat me for posting this as the busiest business district in abuja

Even the Kuje-Gwagwalada road isn't up to 50% complete.

I hate that the citizens of this country are willing tools in the hands of politician's propaganda. Why exactly are you lying that an unfinished road is complete?

Forget the beautiful road markings at the UniAbuja section of that road. Infact most of the Gwagwalada section is totally untouched coming from Abuja- Lokoja road.
The roads are 70% complete never said it was complete

I did.

I repeat; there's no road yet from Apo to Kuje. If you are new to Abuja show the video to someone who knows Abuja and you'll be educated on the roads you videoed.

What you videoed was Apo roundabout to Apo Mechanic. You weren't even anywhere close to Wassa. You didn't even get to Waru not to talk of Wassa. Then you videoed Kuje road from the airport interchange and some parts of the road to Gwagwalada from Kuje town. Where did you video Kuje road from Apo? The road doesn't even exist.

The person driving you around may have scammed you anyway.
Anybody that watches the video will know that I said from apo we will go to kuje I never said they were in the same place or I never said the roads have connections nobody scammed anyone I joined the both videos together I clearly said from apo we will go to kuje 🤦‍♀️cheers to your own interpretation 😂 please watch the video well

They are basic amenities yet Osama bin Laden bombed World Trade Centre and it took America more than 20 years to deal with the Taliban and killed Osama.

Many of you just mistake wishes for reality just they way you expect Nigeria to become Dubai in 3 years of Tinubu
Kudos to mr project

With the coastal road alone many town will turn to city and many villages will be upgraded to town, connecting states create more development.
Yes kuje and gwagwalada is a proof

Just look at the number of roads done in 3 years and some enemy of progress are still grumbling, if the previous governments have been intentional like the way Tinubu priorities infrastructure, Nigeria by now will be competing with some advanced countries.

Just look at bus terminals that is springing up in Lagos and the monorail extensions, the coastal road and the solar street light in all Federal roads, then you will admit that the city boy has taste for excellence
We cannot celebrate roads in 2026 sir
These are basic amenities citizens are meant to enjoy it’s their work that’s why they are there

TravelAbuja's Jabi Lake Project: Man Made Lake Transforms To Dubai Fountain by Goodnessnw(op): 6:20pm On Apr 13
Abuja is planning something big.

A major redevelopment project around Jabi Lake is now being positioned as a world-class tourism destination—drawing comparisons to the Dubai Fountain and even Times Square.

Abuja's Jabi Lake Project: Man Made lake transforms to Dubai fountain

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_v-bXJ02D0

On the surface, it sounds ambitious.

But beneath that ambition are serious questions.

Can a city like Abuja replicate systems that work in places like Dubai or New York?
Does the infrastructure exist to support it?
And more importantly—what happens when you build on top of an ecosystem that is already under pressure?

This video breaks it down:
• The policy shift behind the project
• The economic strategy driving it
• Why Jabi Lake is being redeveloped
• And the environmental risks most people are not talking about

Because this is not just about building something new.

It’s about whether it can actually work.
