Politics › Re: The 10 Most Indebted African Nations By Total Debt-to-GDP by goslowgoslow(m): 2:29am On Mar 04 |
njokuuche77: What does this mean to Nigerians? Nigeria not being on this list might make some people happy and they know themselves, but it doesn’t automatically mean we are doing great.
Debt to GDP simply compares what a country owes to the size of its economy. Even if we’re not among the top 10, what really matters is: Can we comfortably pay our debts without struggling?
If a country earns little but borrows a lot, repayment becomes stressful even if it’s not on a “most indebted” list. So instead of celebrating or arguing politics, the real question should be: Are we growing the economy? Are we earning enough revenue? Is the borrowed money improving people’s lives?
That’s what truly matters. Double edged sword 🗡️⚔️! If Nigeria was on that list you will start raining curses on Tinubu. Because you were so disappointed that we are not on the list you started a different narrative. |

MT: Who is a terrorist? Define it by being fair and balanced.
Let me tell you a little story. In 2018, A Saudi Crown Prince - MBS - approved the murder of a Saudi journalist - Jamal Khashogi - right inside the Saudi Embassy in Turkey. It led to a global outrage when Jamal was murdered. Yet the US government looked the other way, rolled our red carpet for MBS when he visited the US and Trump had to insult a US journalist who questioned MBS about Jamal murder. Why? Just because the US wanted MBS to invest billions of dollars into the US
The same Ayatollah regime being fought by US and Israel was facilitated to power by the same US against the Shah government.
When you are the western power friends, when you are looting your country resources and investing in their countries, you are their friends.
When you say no to their excesses, you are classified as a "terrorist".
Do not forget, someone's terrorist is another person's hero.
I ask you again, who is a terrorist? God bless you for this comment, too many immatured people on NL. They don't even know that the root cause of terrorism was started by America. Majority of us here and millions of Americans will tell you this facts but some Nigerian who has never stepped into the US will be giving you some narratives as if they are America spokes person. Americans don't even want all the attack, the same man they are blindly supporting promised that America will not be part of international wars again during his election campaign and after he won. |

If not for the USA and its allies, this world would probably be ruled by heartless terrorist mullahs. The US ain't perfect, But trust me, They've been a blessing to the world. I don't blame you, you can stay in Nigeria and spew all your gibberish. We living here are now scared look at what happened in Austin after the attack, that place is just 2 minutes from where I work. After rendering them harmless now isreal will be hovering above Iran as their airspace is obliterated. Ok at the end who suffers for all these? honeyB2018: I
It's not about how good he was, but about what he did and what he left behind. Wasn't he one of those who said Fubara wouldn't get a second term? Wasn't he positioning himself with Wike for a second term, but was in support of denying another person because of personal interest. Wether you like it or not, my message was that people should realize that life is short and empty. While you are in power, don't stand against the progress of another person. Mr I can easily guess your age, if you are more than 25 I will be surprised because your comment is that of a child. You cannot differentiate the good thing someone has done for his people from politics. You are obviously in support of Fubara that is why you are making such comments, those who are not in support of Wike will say otherwise. Regardless whatever the side you belong all what they are doing right or wrong is politics and for their own interest. My comment is about what the man did for the people of his constituent which is the primary thing for his people that elected him and he did well. So if you cannot differentiate between what he did and the politics they are playing that is your problem. |

brain54: Ukraine looks like a cursed wasteland...
See how deserted and forsaken it looks. I'm just wondering what it would cost to rebuild that country after the war and how long it will take.
The lives lost... priceless and irreplaceable. But the clown in power sees nothing wrong in continuing the destruction of his country. His country is now a war field testing ground for all types of weapons.
Meanwhile no such devastating effects on Russia asides some slight dent on her economy.
The weak ought to learn when to give way to the strong. The clown skipped class the day that lesson was taught! Look at how this one is writing bu!!crap as if it was Ukraine that started the war. |

mikeapollo: The woman's reaction and jubilation is BAD! Indirectly, it shows to some extent, that she was not really100% sure of herself, and the result is ''news'' to her! What she could have done is to break down in tears and weep heavily in the presence of everybody, for the husband's unwarranted suspicion of unfaithfulness. This is what would have melted peoples hearts, including the husband, as true proof that she is truly innocent and faithful to the husband. Everybody would feel sorry for her and give her sympathy support. But for her to be jubilating with other women, it feels somehow to me.. That is not true! Her joy is to shame every more like ntoooor. That was my initial thought but that is not true. She has probably gone thru a lot from the husband and possibly the in-laws. They might have accused her of bringing b@stards into the family. So her joy was because of her innocence and proofing all her accusers wrong. |
