I see stuff like these and the one that happened with wike as a major security gap that needs to be addressed immediately.

Every security apparatus in a state shd take orders from the state government not the FG as the state governor is the chief security officer of his state.
These are laws that needs to be amended.

I believe Channels TV is going overboard in its hate for this administration which it has not hidden at all.

It is very wrong for Channels TV to air the full fracas between Wike and the Navy personnel in its 8pm bulletin yesterday

That broadcast is capable of flaring tempers and emotions especially in the military

What were they trying to achieve?

At the 10pm bulletin, the fracas had been edited to remove the shouting match and abusive words but the harm had already been done.

Channels TV needs to be SANCTIONED

That almost went south. We would have been telling another story now.
The situation should have been better handled by senior man FCT emperor. He shouldn't have descended so low into a shouting match with the young officer. He should have stepped back, and talked with someone on his own level, who has the authority to rescind whatever last order the officer was standing upon.
If memory serves me right even the once dreaded Sgt Rogers got away with a lot because he was only obeying orders.
You've been around for a very long time. God bless the senior man 🙏

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED AS MINISTER WIKE'S CONDUCT POSES A CLEAR THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY

The events of November 11, 2025, involving the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, demand an immediate and serious response. His public disparagement of a uniformed officer of the Nigerian Armed Forces transcends mere misconduct; it represents a palpable threat to national security and institutional integrity.

A minister’s verbal assault on a military officer in uniform is an act of profound indiscipline that strikes at the core of our nation's command and control structure. It deliberately undermines the chain of command, disrespects the authority of the Commander-in-Chief, and grievously wounds the morale of every individual who serves under the Nigerian flag. Such actions erode the very foundation of discipline upon which our national security apparatus stands.

This can not be dismissed as political theatre. It is a reckless endangerment of national order. This action by Wike is clearly an indication of undermining the federal government’s authority.

Consequently, Barrister Nyesom Wike must tender an immediate and unequivocal public apology to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Commander-in-Chief, the entire Armed Forces of Nigeria, and the specific officer whose honour was violated.

Our nation's security must come first. It is time for decisive action, not politics of military bashing. The integrity of our Armed Forces demands nothing less.

Politics › Re: Shadows Of The Past: How Sheikh Gumi's Brush With U.S. Intelligence Fuels His by Gotocourt: 10:53am On Nov 11, 2025
I've been reading and watching documentaries on USA counterterrorism worldwide, most outspoken Islamic clerics are members of radical terrorist group worldwide particularly those symphatetic with same views as the terrorist. That man is still a prime suspect of all happenings in Nigeria.

Abdulmutallab, a 23-year-old from a prominent Lagos family, had attended Gumi's religious lectures in Kaduna as a teenager. In late 2009, as Abdulmutallab spiraled toward radicalization in Yemen—training with Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP)—he exchanged emails with Gumi. The messages, later intercepted by U.S. intelligence, were theological in nature: Abdulmutallab sought guidance on "deviant ideologies," and Gumi responded with what he described as corrective Salafi teachings to promote moderation. Gumi insists he was unaware of any violent plans and was, in fact, trying to deradicalize the young man.

Gumi using his military training background won't exchange mails. Rather it will be oral communication 📌💯. This man will be nailed in no time.
I discovered in my research that Nigerian islamists fought alongside the Talibans during USA invasion of Afghanistan around 2003-2007

British media houses are covering this story.

There has been a campaign that the British Museum should return looted Benin and Ife bronzes. However, the museum has refused to return any of the looted African artwork because they claim that Africans cannot maintain them. This has drawn intense anger from many Africans.
