I have a strong apc friend from edo. He voted apc and he told me that his a business man whatever he buy he would add his profit and resell. We met recently and was complaining to me that debt is after his life, he keep borrowing for the business and can't see the money. He told me he can't sleep anymore and I just tell him sorry, pay for one bottle of beer for him and zoom off. That is a Mechanical Engineer practicing majorly in Auto-Mechanics.

I had a relative who was a Mechanical Engineer like him about same time. He recieved his PG specialization training in Auto-Mechanics (Fire fighting trucks) in Germany and returned to be based in Ibadan. Throughout his lifetime, he will always visit Lagos on vacation but never permanently relocated to Lagos.

Ibadan was doing great and competing for talents with Lagos , Abeokuta, Badagry, Oshogbo then. If you travel to Ile Ife, Ilesha, Idanre, Sagamu, Ijebu Ode, Ila Orangun, Ede etc, you will still see evidence of the western civilization dating back to even before that era in Yorubaland.

Little wonder that the only and oldest archeological evidence of human communal existence that ever existed in the whole of western Africa was excavated in Ondo state. If Ondo could posses such prize, now imagine what lies in those other ancient Yoruba towns/cities!
