I tested with ₦100,000 for 90 days:
A. FIXED DEPOSIT: - Rate in September 2026: 10-13% for ₦100k (Access Bank 11%, First Bank 10.5%, Stanbic 12% if you have ₦1m+) - Interest formula: Principal x Rate x Days / 365 - ₦100,000 x 11% x 90 / 365 = ₦2,712 gross - Withholding Tax 10% = ₦271.2 - Net you receive = ₦2,440.8 - Lock: 90 days, if you break before, you lose interest.
B. MUTUAL FUNDS (Money Market Fund): - Rate in September 2026: Stanbic IBTC Money Market 15.2%, Cowrywise Money Market 15%, PiggyVest Flex Dollar - Interest: Compounding daily, not simple - ₦100,000 x 15% x 90 / 365 = ₦3,698 (approximate, daily compounding adds small extra) - No 10% WHT deducted upfront, fund pays after - Liquidity: Withdraw within 24-48 hours, no penalty - Risk: Not insured by NDIC like Fixed Deposit, but invested in Treasury Bills and Commercial Papers
My Result: Mutual Funds paid ₦1,257 more than Fixed Deposit for the same ₦100k for 90 days. When to choose which? - Choose Fixed Deposit if you want NDIC insurance up to ₦500k and you will not touch money. - Choose Mutual Funds if you want higher return and flexibility to withdraw for emergencies.
I am not selling anything. Just sharing what I learned saving ₦10k monthly with ₦334 daily from car wash.

Around early April 2025, my GF said she's pregnant and after pressing her several times if she had sex with any other guy apart from me, she confessed that on February 22nd,2025 she was raped by one guy who told her to come for a job interview, then she had her period Feb 24th-28th then we had sex 1st of March,2025 which she now missed her period in March 2025, so definitely the pregnancy should belong to me since she still did period after the rape incident. I took the matter up and got the rapist arrested, he confessed to raping her and was pleading for mercy and forgiveness which I later granted due to pressure from pastors and his relatives. So I took responsibility for the pregnancy,and delivery hoping to do a DNA test after delivery but the cost was too expensive for me to afford, so I did traditional marriage with her due to the family making it compulsory. Fast forward to this month which the baby is 10months old, she fell sick and was taken to hospital, after treatment her genotype was done and found to be AS whereas myself and her mother are both AA, then I took them to three different facilities to repeat the same test and still got the same result. This means that I am not the biological father of the baby because it's not possible for two AA to produce AS, so therefore I am guessing the biological father of the baby is that rapist but what's confusing is she still had her period after that rape incident. Anyways, I am really confused and needs an outsider opinion for me to make objective decision on this matter cos I and my family have already forged a bond with the baby, her mother and her family, if I spill this discovery, everything will spoil, if I don't spill it, I will be raising another man's child as my own and my family will be in the dark not knowing anything.
I really need a neutral suggestion on the next step to take either to call that rapist to ask him for genotype and if he's AS, then tell him he is the father of the baby OR I should call a meeting with my wife and her family to end the marriage and tell them what's going on OR I should just ignore everything and continue raising the baby as my own since no one knows about this issue yet.

I said today na today, na night vigil l go do like this so. But l slept off, woke up around 2am. The saying in the bible that, where a man treasure is, there his heart will be is a confirmed truth/fact. The moment l was awake, l rushed to first Ally, tried to login the 1st time, got incorrect password or email reply, l hit the forgot password button and was told a password recovery/resetting code has been sent to my registered email, got the code and entered and was asked to enter a new password and to re-enter it after which l gained access to my account.
The most annoying part is, l didn't even change the password. I entered the old password as new one and the system accepted it still. My question now is, is this what old clients have been going through and those of us just joining will be encountering each time first Ally is going to do maintenance?
