safarigirl: there are Yorubas and Hausas in the East till doing business, but because a large percentage of thwse groups refuse to travel and expose themselves, they sit in thwir comfort zones and make false assumptions
Have you ever seen an Igbo state advocating for any group to leave their state for any reason whatsoever? You think these people do not share different political ideologies from them? But an Igbo person cannot drink water and drop cup in Lagos and parts of the North. Someone must accuse them of stealing land, of not supporting their candidates, or even sometimes, blame them for whatever someone else from a Southern minority trim must have done.
Igbos are easily the most traveled and exposes Nigerians there are, tthey do things a certain way and should not be bullied into the ideologies of the rest of the country. They are the most Republican group in Nigeria while the West and North traditionally practice monarchy. That is why they cannot follow one man blindly, nobody tells an Igbo man what to do, especially when you are not feeding him and as far as I can see, that is the biggest issue they have in Nigeria.
When you people mention IPOB, what is the percentage of Igbos that even follow IPOB or Kanu? Do you think Emeka in Ladipo or Chinedu in Nyanya cares about IPOB and Kanu? Bear in mind, there are most likely more Igbos living outside SE than in it. So, who are these IPOB Igbos spreading hate? And who are the rest of you giving it back to? Becauee most attacks on Igbos affect those who don't support IPOB, those who barely even visit SE.
These are the people feeling the brunt of the attack, not the IPOB people. And you make them see reason withthe IPOB people when all you people do is show them that thwy are just as unwanted as IPOB have claimed. You cannot fight hate with hate. Trash, name one instance where Yoruba or Hausa call anambra a no man's land. Or shouting onitsha belongs to the Benin's even though we know the Benins own onitsha. The shit you perform here, did anyone do it in your land? |

MNDY: She did Lionheart to advocate unification of the Igbos with the Hausas. She did not make those remarks but perhaps she needs to make another movie to advocate unification of the Igbos with the Yorubas too.
I have Igbo friends. I am not generalizing but they really need to work on discarding superiority complex. Yorubas are in the north too and Hausas are in the west (or Lagos) too doing business. They can only have superiority among themselves, not where Yoruba is. |

RTSC: ermm, no. Why do it half way? Why eat your cake and have it.?
Regionalism is gone for good. Break up is the next natural thing. The fault lines are too thick for you to expect to go back to regionalism, when a lot of people want to break up.
If you want Lagos, well that would be in oduduwa republic. Nothing less. We all want division but your foolish Azikwe went against the seccession clause all because he thought it will favour you guys all because his kinsmen were at the affair of the nation then. |

SouthEastFacts: I am not the cause of your illiteracy.
Enugu was razed to the ground during a major war but surprisingly it recovered fully in a record time.
If what happened to Enugu had happened to Birmingham, Monaco and the rest would they have recovered fully within the time it took Enugu?
Hiroshima is still struggling to recover from the world war hangover. You don't know more than Rockfeller Foundation.
Paris was razed during the world war, London was bombed by Hitler, but they recovered.
Lagos is still struggling to manage its population crisis, Ibadan couldn't sustain its tempo as the once pride of West Africa.
This is what resilience is all about.
We rebuilt Enugu into the most serene city in Nigeria. Shut up, any city raised down is capable of rebuilding. Akure was raised down during omoboriowo war, but was built back in no time. Stop glorifying your slum. |

SouthEastFacts: We didn't ask you to define resilience.
When a city is resilient, what does it show? It means the city is more beautiful and developed than those not listed. Example, enugu was listed so it is beautiful and developed than Dakar, Birmingham, Madrid, Monaco, Moscow, Pretoria Cardiff etc cos they were not listed. According to southeastfact

Enugu City is more beautiful than Lagos City. True or False Yes, more beautiful than Birmingham that was not listed. When an igbo man does not know what resilient means. |

SouthEastFacts: Enugu is a world-class city. In 2015 it was recognised alongside Paris, London, Athens, Barcelona as one of the Top 100 most resilient city in the world.
Guess what?
Enugu made the first list. Forget about all the noise from our sophisticated brothers, Lagos City , Lagos State is crawling where Enugu is.
Again, Lagos is not even a Yoruba city. Has Yorubas been able to develop a city by themselves.
The Ibadan we left for them, why are they not able to maintain the city today. Imagine the once pride of Africa now a bundle of rotten roofs, since there are no Igbos and non-indigenes to build better houses for them. World class city. Lol, seems enugu is developed than Birmingham because Birmingham was not listed among resilient cities. World class my ass. |

shugamummy: Guy these guys drives the economy of Lagos and the Nigerian nation as a whole. They are the lifeblood of Lagos. When they return home during Christmas, Lagos turns to a dry land. When they pull their deposits from Nigerian banks, they bleed. If not why not give them Biafra and let's see who bleeds the most. What exactly is producing money in Lagos if I may ask? Stop deceiving yourselves, these guys landfill even water and erect comfort homes all throughout Lagos. Deny this at your own peril till you won't be able to own a piece of land in your own Lagos. If I were you, I would have left Lagos, buy a piece of land at the heart of awka, and by typing on NL right from the comfort of my home at awka. That will actually place you on the path of reality, right now enjoy your illusions that Igbos are not important in your Lagos Are you sure? Then why is it that ogun alone produces more Igr than all the five of their core states altogether and no single state from east produce Igr more than Oyo? Just an honest question. |

noisy45: I'm an ijaw man igbos live better than other nigerians from different tribes from the experience of schooling with them and living with them. In my state in Bayelsa they control commerce here out side crude oil. Yoruba should stop hating them but should learn one or two things from them. Igbos are not for politics but money making in yenegoa igbo shops are opened for business. From experience an igbo University graduate will rather not look for white collar job but will go start up a business but not same with the yorubas I schooled with many are still unemployed chasing the mirage of a good job wasting time instead of doing business like our igbo classmates. As for me I don't need a job I collect salary as an exmilitant 138k every month doing nothing. Is this one OK, what do Yoruba want to learn from people who run from their land and shout development. Development inside traffic. Who is hating who. Do you know the meaning of hate. Go to South Africa and learn what is hate. We have been linen in the past so we won't anymore cos they are overstepping thier boundary. They drive your economy but their states can't produce igr ogun produce altogether. |

shugamummy: No you missed it, take it to the moon, it's still written on the marble of indelible history that Igbos are the only tribe that have at least one person in almost all the countries of the world. They are adventurous. It's not peculiar to the SW. They just can't settle for less than humane by begging around the streets. Btw how many Igbos have you seen in Lagos carrying begging plates. Now because you feel an Igbo man only builds at his place of residence, there is no single Igbo man who owns a house in foreign land without a mansion at his own village. If you travel landlord you shall testify. Individuals construct streets in the east. We don't wait for fucking govt allocation, have you ever heard of recession in Onitsha and the entire east. So leave Igbos out of your govt and give them Biafra simple. Why is this simple request and uphill task for the unsophisticated afonjas and almajiris You don't mean it.
