Good evening everyone.

Most nigerian movies can be so meaningless. You can even fathom the message they are trying to pass. Always acting meaningless scripts with funny titles.

We also have a TV in our bedroom, so my wife was watching a Nigerian movie while I was working on my office files.

I can't even puzzle out the excitement in that movie. All I was hearing is some lousy actors making noise and the poor suspense sound track. You need to see my wife looking so tensed & serious, flapping her both hands like a bird that is about to fly while screaming “enter the car drive! drive! drive!

I said Aunty easy o, Then I asked her the title of the movie, she said "The pregnant ghost". I said pls came again, you say? She didn't answer then I picked up the remote to check the title then booom!! The pregnant ghost

I was just laughing seriously, I've to capture it. then I asked her whether she have seen a ghost before not to talk of a pregnant one? And she said what! If I want to know if ghost dey carry belle that I should join her and watch the movie too.

I jejely carried my office files and my laptop, walk straight to the sitting and continue my job. Because if I talk otherwise about that movie na problem for me and I don't want her wahala this night.

Then she asked where am I going? I said this movie is so interesting and it's making me loose focus on the work I'm doing, so I'm going to the sitting room were I can concentrate.

Abeg, those of you that watch this kind of movie, please what are the moral lessons?

The only thing I see in your family is the love you and your wife share. Keep it up. It doesn't matter what preference we have, the only important thing is respecting each other's boundaries

You know sometimes unforseen delays or circumstances can come on occasion days. I am not sure anyone will deliberately want to keep people (especially officiating pastors) waiting on their wedding day...all the same, his reaction was too extreme is the point I am making.

I have heard of people say it is my day. Everyone would have to wait for me. As a matter of fact my younger sister said the same thing. It's really pathetic that we have such mindset in Africa. We should learn to be time conscious

The church of God is like an hospital where all kinds of sick people go. The house of God is a place where the sick are healed, sinners are transformed to saints and those under the bondage and yoke of the enemy are delivered.
Jesus said in Luke 19:10
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

That is why many in the church we have all kinds of people and some day, they will encounter the saving power of Christ through constant hearing of God's word.

4. Does he know what the average Nigerian go through every day to put food on the table for his family, shelter them etc?

With all this and many more questions, I believe telling Nigerians that your salary was slashed is not a good way of easing their stress or giving them hope of a better tomorrow... As a Christian Politician I believe you are more informed than an average Nigerian.

All forms of oppression and repression have been subjected to DEBATE and the VOTE at one time or another in every national assembly on earth. From slavery to voting rights to gay rights to women's rights, ethnic minorities rights to child rights, workers' rights etc.

In each voting/debate session there will ALWAYS be those for and those against. Especially in a large muslim/christian divided nation where values can differ sharply. That it seems ''very clear'' to YOU what is ''the right thing'' does NOT entitle you to insult and diminish the other party to the debate in any democratic setting.

Going online to insult senators and Mrs Jonathan even though it's clear she's never picked up a copy of the constitution in her life is really just symbolic of the new freedoms we enjoy under our hard fought democracy, which ignorant attention-seekers like Damasus choose to exploit for cheap online 'trending' at their country's expense.

The democratic process we practice is designed to weed out socially depraved practices through discussion, voting, and debate among ELECTED officials. That process is at this very moment at work, and we must respect it. No 'LAW' has been passed, contrary to the nonsense spewed by Damasus, and there is absolutely no reason for any person to imagine that Nigerian lawmakers are about to pass a bill legalising underage marriage.

But that does not mean the issue will not be raised, discussed, debated or voted on. That is what the senate and house of reps are there for.
