The reason most people go to church is because of protection from evil people.

You must be joking right? Protection from evil people? Even pastors uses body guard and you're here saying protection from evil people. I stand to be corrected, An average Nigerian Christian especially in the Southwestern part of this country goes to "babalawo" or "Ifa priest" when they are faced with spiritual problem beyond their pastor.

They are nothing but a hypocrite and a pretender, they go to church to show off and later go to traditional worshipers when they have an issue they consider to be spiritual attack

As much as this look and sounds like a good development, I feel the NERC aren't being sincere with Nigerians. They wil say one thing, trust the DISCOs to do another thing.. They don't sanction these DISCOs. We have spend donkey years applying for meter at our house, but they keep giving one excuse or the other. You fill a form and that's where it ends. No one gets back to you. Yet the estimated bills keep on soaring high.. We just recently cleared N71k of current and arrears for a bungalow that doesn't even have AC. Yet these guys bring bill of N25k, 30k. Last month they brought 34k. And even if you pay half of the money, their operatives will still come to your house, climb the pole and disconnect you and insist you go on to clear your outstanding balance. You still pay for reconnection too. They are looking for more money, but this is not the way to go about it. Scamming Nigerians of hard earned money. Yet the Federal Government is not talking. We know why.. The owners of GENCOs and DISCOs are top politicians who are seemingly untouchable. What do we even enjoy in this country apart from the air we breathe in.. Such a shame on the Minister of Power.. Despite all his mouth.. Now he has flopped big time...

Is this not another local YAHOO? Honestly scam is done in different dimension in this failed Country called Nigeria. I can't begin to talk about what we are experiencing with this Disco guys in my area. Those Discos are legalized SCAMMERS , they milk you dry with crazy bills.

See confused people.. Toothpaste or no toothpaste shouldn't bring up any argument. At least you guys eat in the morning 4am-5:30am (Sahur)before fajr prayer. Some of them will eat as if that is going to be their last breakfast. Don't you guys brush your teeth before you eat Sahur ? So why argue as if you don't eat early morning food before you start fasting or you guys don't swallow the early morning food?.

To some extent I do agree with you, some of these pastors even involve in Money laundry. Nigerian pastors can't be trusted most especially these money driven/focused pastors.

Atleast you're not in the church today, please use your brain, I hope you remember that these churches have thousands of branches across Nigeria and other countries they all remit the offerings and tithes collected every Sunday into the church account.

Some churches are even on target(to remit specif amount). I used to be a church instrumentalist for years back then and very close to most pastors and church secretary so I know how these churches operate.

He is a pathetic liar... But anyways he can say that since his zombie followers can't think he does the thinking for them.

Only those who know can relate, you'd be dumbfounded if you know the amount of money these churches take to the bank every weekday after Sunday services Most especially these mega churches. mind you other branches also remit into the church account every week after Sunday service.

It's only the ZOMBIE followers and Pastor ass lickers that will believe that the money generated from church can't buy a jet.

The FACT still remain that God is God of ALL, whatever you considered to be "Life" others who are not Christians are also a beneficiary of it and they enjoy it. IFA priest or a Buddhist isn't better than those who died during the church service in Sri Lanka. We all live by God's grace, not because you're a Christian or Muslim.
