MERCHANDISER: most developed part of Abidjan are cocody, marcody and plateau, these districts looks like mini Paris.
Yopongon is the largest district in Abidjan, its almost the size of 5local governments in Lagos. Altogether, there are 10 districts in Abidjan. There are many ivorians there and there is flexing there,if you are not careful, life go carry u go Abidjan is huge, its landmass is slightly smaller than Lagos state with 7million population.
from my uncle that have lived there Good to know bro.. but I dey search for where to sell goods ,like business districts or market where business moves fqster |

Bullrun: I think you meant trenchville, a lot of Nigerians (yoruba) in trenchville.
Your budget should be around 50,000 cefa to 100,000 cefa monthly. Depends on the location and size.
Adjame is quite cheaper, filled with igbos similar to Alaba international market. Quite rough though compared to other places of Abidjan.
Overall ivorians are cool people minding their business, but U still gotta watch out for phone snatchers in a place like Adjame. please can I send you e mail |

Holywizard: Just know that the country is very expensive before coming. I'm at Adjamé with my friends. The cheapest hotel we got is 5000 cf and they are only allowing one person per a hotel room. It means 3 of us are staying in 3 hotel rooms. But they don't have any problem if u are staying with a girl. This is my 3rd day here. This country will be good for business though as things are expensive. but let me ask . is 2 million naira enough to esterblish business there? |

ezenwajosh: Leave Nigeria again.... It kills dream, evaporates capital
Money is not circulating....
People now consider needs and their wants never happens....
And the NEED business is food stuffs and restaurants but even at that those into it is almost the same ratio of its patronizers
The WANTS BUSINESS has few that venture into it but it's expensive to establish and only few too patronize it
NIGERIA IS SINKING.......ABANDON SHIP..... I REPEAT ABANDON SHIP
TRAVEL TO Mozambique.... YOU WILL EVEN DO MUCH BETTER what are the wants business if I may ask?? I want to venture into one please. |

crackhaus: Unless you plan to stress yourself, don't bother until land borders are opened.
You can make it through but be ready to offer bribes and maybe even use alternative routes that are not so convenient, especially at the Aflao Ghana/Togo border and also at the Ghana/Cote d'Ivoire border (passing through Dormaa in Ghana and out at Agnibilekrou in Cote d'Ivoire) can one travel to ivory coast without passport when the border opens?? |
