Majority of those affected by the JAMB glitch are Yoruba candidates in Lagos. Yet, the people of the South West are not crying about ethnic targeting because we understand that such technical glitch can occur. However, it is really very sad and annoying seeing some folks trying to use the unfortunate occurrence to score cheap points of bigotry.

The young boys and girls who wrote the exam are a strong part of Nigeria’s future. Why are some of these folks trying to poison their minds with seeds of division, hatred and victim mentality over a technical glitch? To what end? Politics? This is just so pathetic and sympathetic at the same time.

Has it ever occurred to you why Peter Obi won presidential election in Lagos? That should tell you there might be a larger population of Igbos in Lagos than the Yorubas. I even learnt the most affected areas in Lagos are well known Igbo dominated areas.

Let's face it, it's a clear targeted attack against the Igbos. Only a tribalistic ignoramus would dispute that.

It’s still kinda relevant, because if tithe was completely unnecessary, Jesus would have dismissed it. Rather, he regarded it as ‘’minor”, which is what I said in my earlier post.

For Christians that pay tithes, let no one discourage them because it’s not evil or ungodly. It’s a pity though, how some Pastors have become so greedy in squandering tithes and coercing members into paying. Let everyone give liberally, without coercion.

Only Mathew 23:23 is relevant to tithing. Even though, Jesus never emphatically stated tithe paying there, you could hear him say it is "minor".

But the issue is, most Pastors these days lay much emphasis on tithing, than salvation itself. I've heard things like "if you don't tithe, things will be tight for you", which is unbiblical.

In my opinion, people are to pay tithe willfully and cheerfully, not under compulsion. This is not to discourage tithing in any way, I would even say tithing is good, but I discourage this greed most Pastors have towards tithe.
