I am trying to apply for the e-visa using this link www.ehome.dha.gov.za/ePermit/login but I cannot seem to log in. I have been trying all day.

I was able to do the initial profile set up, and the account confirmation process, but after that I keep getting an error message when i try to log in. The error reads "Login Failed. Please ensure that the details provided are correct and try again." Has anyone experienced this? How did you resolve it.

Also, I read here about an e-visa route through VFS. Can someone please direct me to the right link. Thank you.

Relative visa cos hubby is there (has PR)
I’m tired, it’s frustrating…..

Interesting update
I submitted a CSV renewal on 31st Oct
Got notification that it was returned to VFS on 10th Nov
It was ready for collection on 13th Nov
Confirmed yesterday that it was approved.
I still don't know how but that's the fastest CSV approval I've seen.

They are currently having a system overhauling in SOUTH AFRICA as regard migration policy hence the longer delay currently,it was resolved yesterday and although there are plenty backlogs of documents to attend to,so I hope they do that soonest...

Recently, I saw video commercial of Trev promoting the Tourism Industry and asking people to come visit SA. I don't know if anyone saw that too!.
And I am like wondering in my head, how do people visit your country when you delay their visas and eventually reject their visas.
I threw the question to the board, and I am yet to get a response

I guess the commercial was targeted at a different audience not West Africans minus Ghanaians

Hi , I also got confused at his post. I had to follow his trial of messages for clarifications.
I think he submitted around October for a family vacation and got passport submission notification in November for himself only.
That was what i "believe" he was explaining in the last message.

That been said, the department of home affairs is one entity. Whether vfs or dha. There is only one home affairs, because i personally visited their office in Pretoria and also stopped by at VFS office.
The VFS works for DHA as a submission center. They file for applicants and process to DHA. so please, dont mix things up.
If you are arriving in SA, You can arrive at 2 point OR TAMBO in Johannesburg or Capetown International Airport, which is just about 2hrs from Johannesburg. However, while filling your application, if you didnt put Capetown as arrival point, dont arrive there. Arrive in Jo burg. OR TAMBO is more sophiscated to handle all sort of visas. So i will go back to my initial response to you. Arrive in jo burg, rest a day in Pretoria, and fly SAA To CPT(Capetown) the following day.

kindly read carefully to understand, I dont like dragging questions for too long. This above is detailed and quite explanatory. if you have further questions outside what has been said, do let me know.

Same here, I submitted yesterday at VFS Lagos no message up till now.

And also my passport was taken from me during the process but I'm scared of them keeping it for so long because I have another application to make soon

Hello, for someone who is currently in SA on a tourist visa( 3 months visa with a maximum of 30days stay per time), which country can one travel to just to leave SA and re enter without going back to Nigeria and overstaying. I will appreciate responses.
