As a follower of Deeper life I would disagree with you to a very large extent.
Kumuyi, over the years, has always addressed issues like this. Sometimes, people are even surprised that he is the one saying such things. In 2008 or thereabout, he addressed many behavioural issues in the Church like marriage, offering, and even this same topic of covering the hair. How did US is the cause of Ukraine invasion?
Finland has more border with Russia than Ukraine and is now a member of NATO just during the course of invading Ukraine. Why didn't Russia attack Finland?

Russia has no justification for invading Ukraine. The reason why Russia can boast of having more nuclear weapons than US is because Ukraine donated her own to Russia with the guarantee that the US, UK and Russia will protect them when necessary. So seeing the UK and US supporting Ukraine today is more than just the NATO thing Russia is making us believe. The thing is that Russia, US and UK sign a pact to protect Ukraine if they give up their nuclear arsenal. If Ukraine was having these weapons today would Russia had imagine invading Ukraine?
This was the same reason that some NATO members states lead by France were able to invade Libya and displaced Gaddafi because Libya gave up its biological and nuclear weapons.
The reason why I'm not in support of the denuclearization of North Korea as proposed by the the Americans unless there is a peace pact and unification of the South and North.

The US has actually invaded 11 countries since in the 1780 and I don't think they annexed any of them to be their territory. Russia has invaded more and occupied (annex) its neighbours lands, the recent ones been Ukraine & Georgia. Russia even lied to the whole world that they weren't going to invade Ukraine even when the US & UK intelligence said so. If Russia had the power (militarily and economically) that the US have they would have done worse, in fact they would have renamed the whole Europe as Russia. If you think that US invading another sovereign nation is wrong why support Russia of doing the same?
The destruction of Ukraine will not hurt US as you imagine rather it has made NATO more bigger & closer to Russia as Finland which has more than 1300km border with Russia is now a NATO member because of Russia invasion of Ukraine & Sweden is also in the pipeline. For those who claimed that only the US invades other countries this post is for you. For me, invading another sovereign nation is wrong no matter the party that is involved rather diplomacy should be involved first and except diplomacy is not achievable then we can be talking of going to war. History has shown that Russia is interested in their neighbours lands. If NATO was Russia reason of invading Ukraine was it the same reason why Putin seize Crimea (A Ukraine province) in 2014? And why are Russia neighbours all running to join NATO with the latest been Finland? I think is not just an American thing trying to monitor Russia rather Russia has been bulling these countries for ages & even forced some of them into the Soviet Union some decades ago.
Most counties that were former Soviet Union members are now NATO members & doesn't that ring a bell that Russia is not good in forging relationship with her supposed sisters countries? I think Russia is doing something very wrong that we here cannot actually explain. I'm saying this because I can't imagine the likes of Canada & Mexico forming alliance with "US enemy country". Yes US won't "allow it" but they've been good in managing their relationship with all their neighbours in North America. I think Russia need to learn that from the US.
