I tracked mountain of fire channel today, I got 78% signal quality on 4940 decoder, it still freezes and crack a lot, I used 4950H decoder no signal was detected, I used my sat meter I got high quality signal, I couldn't scan because I m using kpt 968G satfinder which is mpeg2, and I used new supermax short neck c band lnbf, still the same result, house what could be the problem, what type of lnbf will I use to stabilize the signal

Pls I want to know the reason why some new activated DSTV zapper, after scanning it fails to detect local channels, like AIT, CHANNELS SILVERBIRD ETC, and I have 100% both signal strength and quality. I want to know how to solve the problem

In my quest to have a decoder that is all encompassing, mine search brought up this decoder and 4k tiger decoder ,even I have both on my cart on aliexpress, but we all know what those 4k tiger decoder can do, auto Biss and powerful and 4k functionality which are mine drive for any decoder right now. But my question is can this enigma autoroll Biss and powerful, I know of every other functions because I have used T-link decoder before the Linux things.if it can autoroll Biss and powerful then I will pick it over 4k tiger decoders.Thanks

If you don't want to purchase a box in the near future,Current fta boxes should be able to handle multi stream frequencies like few startimes frequency @10east C band and dvb-s2x satellite transmission like frequency 12597V10058 on eutelsat @33.1east..but not excluding hevc or pvu,online movie streaming,Youtube,Kodi,IPTV.

If you can handle any enigma 2 Linux receivers they are the best, this boxes receives software outside the manufacturers support that is 3rd party firmware or software

With an fta receiver that supports hevc/uhd/4k multi stream and with dvbs-s2x tuner and above,you are good to go.

how much is the decoder in your area?, does it autorol biss and Powervu, and does it support HEVC h.265 video codec and also cccam, these are some of the things we need to consider before buying a decoder

these people are just fooling us, why would they have sds server for a particular model, and live others empty, I think we should stop patronising them so that they will treat us with a respect, how many decoders are we going to have in our homes

How can they be selling IPTV account without data support, I will buy IPTV then still buy day data, if you are selling IPTV, then provide data source, otherwise it is better to go for cccam account which requires small amount of data, that's my case

Bro, am getting the Chinese packages,DLCM,Cis,..etc except for signal 6.. the assumption is if the Lnb is not powerful enough (or probably old), one could encounter such problems...try changing the Lnb..
Anyway, the pv packages on 4east are only .. 6 inches above 10east.. which implies that if you are already receiving 4east,. you just do a reverse journey about 6 inches down to receive 10east

Hello folks, there are a lot of affordable HEVC receivers around but if you intend to buy the expensive one , look for those that are 4.2.2 codec compatible.

how do we know it is 4.2.2 codec?

am using srt 4950H,
Lnbf power = on 13/18v
Lnbf frequency = 5150
Then I blind scanned, may be I will use another decoder, after that if it still the same, I will get supermax short neck for it, since the signal is coming up on my meter,
Cos I know it shouldn't be low signal since I got signal 6, but I have not enter the biss key yet, but am having 62 - 75% @signal 6 on my 4950H decoder

may be your signal is low. With freesat finder make sure new world or Chinese MUX tps are at least 75%. If that is done and the problem persist check your settins from the box or the problem might be from your lnb. Again note that some of star times channels are HEVC which your decoder can't play.

i use kpt 968G satfinder, whenever I get 55% on my satfinder it will be 70% on 4922A, on new world to I got 65% on my meter which will be 80% on decoder, any time am tracking once I get 55% upward I will be sure the signal is good, and using the lnbf for sport 24, ARQ media before and it is working perfectly, what I notice is that most of the TPs on vertical is having issue, while the one on H is perfect.

o bro, that satellite needs the dielectric plate you may consider the lnb at 2 o'clock or the opposite when facing the west..

it is already on 8 to 9 which is opposite side of 2 0clock, I only get signal 6, China package, and Rwanda TV but cracks, signal 6 and China package are OK on my decoder, while all the startimes TP and new world sport TP and even loveworld plus refuse to come up on my decoder but works on satfinder even inside the room, is it the same from your side?

I tested the signal inside the room with my satfinder it was OK.

Please explain. I have 4955b and I watch nigcomsat, though it cracks sometimes which I think is general.

it is not general, even srt 4955 decoder fails to detect 12.518 TP on nigcomsat, just check icone decoders, strongest decoder you will see wonder, no cracking or freezing

Pls guys in the house, if you want to buy any decoder test the capability on nigcomsat 42e, if it survives it on both TPs, then go for it, many decoders is having problem with the sat, these are the incapable decoders, vinsat x9800, srt 4955, srt 4940, srt 4674A, especially on 12.543 H 05.000

I will advise that no strong 4950h should be dispatched off yet, cos it's become a box of reference now... just keep it loaded with software version 4.31p ..and let it stay close in case you're looking for lastest ......s
