Mumu. That is barely 3 billion dollars to help cushion the effects.

The normal annual subsidy bill was over 10 billion US dollars!

This is what we are trying to explain to you guys!

You should even be PRAISING Tinubu for allowing a little bit of cushion effect.
So according to you fuel at N89 government pay 10 billion dollars in subsidy while Tinubu increase fuel to N960 and still paying 3 billion dollars in subsidy?
Who did this to Yoruba people that they can see devil and call it angle because of politics

No way, no hope for APC in Anambra state. No Okorocha or Supreme Court matter there.

There are two mountains to climb which APC cannot do. The mountains are Professor Chukwuma Soludo / APGA and Mr. Peter Obi /LP.

So far, Soludo has been putting the round pegs in the round holes, but he has Labour Party to watch out for and not APC. The moment APC lost the late Ifeanyi Ubah, their best candidate who could have won his Senatorial zone was lost.

Labour Party controls reasonable chunk of Anambra state, even as APGA is in power. The two parties enjoy massive support, having completely relegated PDP. Valentine Ozigbo could have ridden on the popularity of Peter Obi to make his chances brighter. With APC, his chances are not to be reckoned with anymore. He probably was scared that the LP court issue would still linger. Now that LP has sorted that, the party will reposition itself to move forward.
Don't forget Ifeanyi Ubar won his senate seat with YPP and later decamp to APC. Do you think he would have won the senate if he was in APC?

The truth is in Anambra politics LP and APGA are same people. Local politics APGA federal LP/OBI, due to zoning arrangements APGA will always win

Soludo is doing perfectly well and vote buying can never work in Anambra election because they will collect your money post it on social media still vote the party of their choice. We from central is already projecting because after Soludo second tenure it will be our turn

PoliticsHad PDP Continued Beyond 2015 by gratiaeo(op): 9:22am On Apr 02, 2025
Nigerians were dissatisfied with the state of the country under the PDP's leadership from 1999 to 2015. The party's management of the country's affairs was marred by insecurity, economic mismanagement, and other issues. A question on many people's minds is whether the country's situation would have been worse if the APC hadn't taken over. For instance, considering that a 50kg bag of rice cost N7,500 in 2015, could its price have exceeded N20,000 today if the APC hadn't come into power?
The price of everything I mean absolutely everything increase to 1000% since APC come into picture

Tinubu has lost it all.

Here is a man who got so excited about being sworn in as president of Nigeria, went off-script, and screamed 'Subsidy is gone' without understanding what it entails or putting measures in place to mitigate its effects on the citizens.

Today, Nigerians are being subjected to untold hardships, hunger, and starvation because of that thoughtless statement and other thoughtless policies.
The worst of it all is this criminals are still paying subsidy

BondRiv:
• The Assembly members asked Fubara to send a list of Commissioners-Designate but he refused.

• Fubara instructed the criminal heading RSIEC and other staff not to honour the invitation of the Assembly. Having not accounted for the unappropriated funds they squandered on a sham election, these criminals can't wait to repeat it again.

• The Assembly sent a letter stipulating a time frame for Fubara to present the budget, but he instructed his staff to reject any correspondence from the Assembly.

• After demolishing the Assembly building due to the fear of impeachment, what is the state of the building now? It is easy to destroy.

• This same lawless element illegally withheld the funds of the legislators.

• On the 10th of March, the clueless element who instructed his staff not to receive correspondence from the Assembly, had the audacity to claim he was trying to send correspondence to them. Without any acknowledgement of the said letter, no copies of the so-called budget was in the possession of the lawmakers, the clown showed up claiming he wanted to present the budget.

The Supreme Court did the right thing by stopping the federal allocation to Rivers State until the governor presents the budget. Rightly declaring that there is a no government in Rivers State.

The Commissioner of Police in Rivers State should be removed, if he can't get the criminals who had disobeyed the summons of the Assembly arrested. Our laws must be obeyed in this country, else anarchy will reign.

Only clueless fools believe a man who demolished the Assembly building of Rivers State is a saint.

Fubara is a despot - The Supreme Court of Nigeria

A joke taken too far - The Court of Appeal

A tyrant - The Federal High Court
Wike is wasting his time in Rivers state the game is already over. Godfatherism has no moral ground in anywhere unless the political office holder want to dance to their tune. Check Ngige in Anambra, Obaseki in Edo even Wike himself during his tenure. It can only work in Lagos where women disguise as men

Nigerians do not want to face reality.

The problem with Nigeria electricity is simple. Most of the customer base does not want to pay the full price for electricity.

All the problems, corruptuion included, even the estimated billing included, arise from the fact that most Nigerians, EVEN with METER ON GROUND...do not want to pay for power.

Meanwhile prices of gas, equipment, machinery is increasing. Also, salaries have to be paid , and salaries of power workers also have to be increased.

Yet say the above, and they will call you agbado, apc supporter, oppressor, tinubu supporter.

So, if I agitate for higher salaries for Nigerians, I am an oppressor.

If I agitate for people to get paid, I am an oppressor....

Right

Until we are all on band A , and all paying the market price, no exceptions...and we are all on meters without bypassing them, we will never ever see light.

See how government is struggling to pay power subsidy debt. And the scary thing is...the annual amount of money required for investment in good power supply is TEN TIMES that debt...so if government pays debt....

But never mind, you can call me agbado, and imf, and run away from the real problem. grin

Nigerians, they want things cheap, thinking that some magic will make things cheap. grin grin grin grin grin grin
Who are the Nigerian who don't want to pay for electricity? Is it that Nepa is not disconnecting light in your area. How can I be paying N15000 on extimated bill every month while the next flag on prepaid is not using up to N5000 pre months
