PoliticsThe Only Solution To Nigeria Problem Is To Allow Farmers Return To Farm by gratiaeo(op): 8:05am On Feb 15, 2024
If Tinubu can fight Fulani bandits disrupting farmers across Nigeria his problems will not be this huge. Pampering FULANI BANDITS killing farmers and chasing them out of farm land is the only reason we have food shortage in Nigeria.
I did not vote for Tinubu but i was not expecting him to fail this massively

Tell these people to stop having too many kids. You keep popping out kids you can't look after then you moan about it.

Why wouldn't there be a rise in poverty and crime when the kids lose hope and resort to other ways to survive.
So is it only people with many kids are suffering in Nigeria
PoliticsRe: Hardship: People Turn To 'Throw-away' Rice For Food In Nigeria - BBC by gratiaeo(m): 7:52am On Feb 15, 2024
If Tinubu can fight Fulani bandits disrupting farmers across Nigeria things wouldn't have been this bad but he's pampering them because of politics
PoliticsRe: Petrol Landing Cost Hits N1,000/litre On FX Crisis by gratiaeo(m): 10:41pm On Feb 14, 2024
Abagworo:
The issue is devaluation. If Naira wasn't devalued there wouldn't be any subsidy. Tinubu made mistake in floating Naira after removal of subsidy which proves his evonomic team are not smart. You first of all float the currency and after it has achieved stable exchange rate then you can remove subsidy.
Chai! I remember when you goons were insulting GEJ before 2015 election without knowing the man was fighting for your future and future of your unborn children
PoliticsRe: Petrol Landing Cost Hits N1,000/litre On FX Crisis by gratiaeo(m): 10:32pm On Feb 14, 2024
I remember when the deluded failed and corrupt government supporters where deceiving themselves that if they remove fuel subsidy that price of fuel will crash. You can not support APC and still reason like a normal human being
BusinessRe: What exactly Is The Benefit Of Floating The Naira? by gratiaeo(m): 9:39am On Feb 14, 2024
DeLaRue:
During Buhari's government, Nigeria, through the CBN, was spending according to some estimates, more than $12billion per year to maintain 2 exchange rates N440, and I think N570 to a dollar.

That $12 billion dollars was effectively a subsidy.

By the time Buhari left, Nigeria had just about $3.5 billion in its account. It is from that amount that we have to pay our debts and pay for imports of goods.

As you can see, Nigeria no longer had the $12 billion dollars required to keep naira/dollar rate at less than N600. So the current government had no choice but to give up on trying to subsidise the naira.

If Atiku or any other candidate had won, they would have had no choice than to follow the same path.

It is like buying a BMW when you had money. If you no longer have money to maintain it, what do you do, you give it up. No be so?

Your friends and neighbours who see you taking Okada will call you stupid for giving up such a beautiful car. But, younno longer have know what they don't know - you no longer have the money to maintain the car.

This is exactly where Nigeria is at present.
All this things you mentioned there was created by APC, how much was dollar before APC catastrophic government took office? They created this 2 exchange windows for them and themselves, they will sell dollars at N440 to their cronies who will now sell at N600 - N700 to importers. Nigeria can never tackle it problem with APC goons being in power, Nigeria needs honesty leader not this quarks
FoodRe: Rising production cost: Bakers Begin Nationwide Strike On February 27 by gratiaeo(m): 8:38am On Feb 14, 2024

Please make an attempt to pretend you have a brain next time you post.

When I was young, bread was something we ate at 2 or 3 times a week, whether at home or in boarding school. Rice was sundays only. I grew up in a very comfortable family so this was not about affordability. Our changing lifestyles that has caused us to depend on imported everything for even the basics is the root of the problem in Nigeria. It is also why the brains of the Nigerian youth are not properly developed…you eat too much bread, rice, indomie and processed foods all of which are also import dependent.

When I was young, whether at home or in boarding school, breakfast was either moi moi, akara, yam or beans for the majority of the week. The ingredients are local and natural….That’s why my brain is well developed and why many of you youths have stunted brains.
Stop supporting failure you refuse. If you are eating bread 2-3 a week it means you are from poor family because bread is always what we bounce on whenever we come back from school before launch

The Past Nigerian administration lack revenue generating ideas, they have been running the pocket money economy system. Instead of taking revenue generated from the oil boom since late 70's till date. They have just looted the money and used the rest to subsidize lifestyle of Nigerians (fuel subsidy). Now they can barely afford the subsidy and also pay salaries, pension and also politicians. So they are transferring the subsidy to the common man, this will free up cash for them to loot, and run the government. Eventually even without paying subsidy there still wont be enough cash to run the government (We are already in this stage, thats why they keep borrowing money up and down, which devalues our currency). See some countries that have also used the same oil to prosper their nation as a whole.
Norway: Norway has built a sovereign wealth fund, known as the Government Pension Fund Global, which invests proceeds from oil and gas production. The fund is one of the largest in the world and has investments in various sectors globally, providing a stable source of income for the country.

United Arab Emirates (UAE): The UAE, particularly Dubai and Abu Dhabi, has diversified its economy beyond oil by investing heavily in sectors such as tourism, real estate, finance, and technology. Dubai, in particular, has become a global hub for trade, finance, and tourism.

Qatar: Qatar has leveraged its natural gas reserves to become one of the world's leading exporters of liquefied natural gas (LNG). Additionally, Qatar has invested in various sectors, including finance, real estate, and sports, to diversify its economy.

Singapore: Although Singapore does not produce oil itself, it has established itself as a major trading and refining hub for oil and petroleum products in the Asia-Pacific region. Singapore has also diversified its economy into sectors such as finance, shipping, biotechnology, and tourism.

Malaysia: Malaysia has developed a diverse economy, with thriving manufacturing, services, and tourism sectors alongside its oil and gas industry. The country has also invested in infrastructure projects and technology to support economic growth.

Netherlands: The Netherlands, home to one of Europe's largest natural gas reserves, has invested oil and gas revenues into developing a highly advanced economy with strong industries in agriculture, manufacturing, trade, and services.

These countries serve as examples of how strategic planning, prudent investment, and diversification efforts can help mitigate the economic risks associated with dependence on oil revenues. By investing in other sectors and fostering innovation, these nations have been able to thrive beyond their oil wealth.

They take us back and far from where we are. What is the fear really? We have lost everything already so what are we going to lose really by doing the right thing.
But you hypocritical lots are already scheming for Shetima after Tinubu. If there is any backward group in Nigeria it's you people from west who can vote a well known criminal just to spit the other group
