How troubling it is that a clown titled Sub-Zero can initiate such a ridiculous and tasteless thread? How can your subject add value to my logical capabilities when you ask questions fit for elementary school kids using this forum? Don't allow the gods of progress tag you as redundant and obstinate in your reasoning. Lets use this forum to build our mindsets and not kid around with trivia and nonsensical threads.
Politics / Re: President Jonathan's Speech At Enugu Is Treasonable by Grazza: 7:43am On May 21, 2012
It is most disappointing to note the terrible aspersions cast by some average witted contributors with respect to this discussion. Nairaland should serve as a base for the formation of a movement and not where aloof idiosyncracies are allowed to run amock by unenlightened souls.
Let us commence this journey by astutely arriving at common conclusions that can then be presented to the media as the voice of a certain strata of concerned individuals. We need to mature beyond the idea of expressing our myopic thoughts without considering the big picture. People, let us think outside the box and take this forum to a next level.

Thanks for the swift response. The highly developed area is still at Imota? What other charges will the prospect incur and how will omonile wahala be handled?

Will this be opposite Mayfair Gardens or further down? Looking for plots directly opposite Mayfair G's gates. Is the CofO available at this time?
Properties / Re: Lekki Free Trade Zone For Sale by Grazza: 6:52pm On Feb 09, 2011
How much is a plot trading for? Also, how will my sponsorship amount (5M) be guarded against loss/deception if I decide to proceed in that direction?
Crime / Re: US Police Cracks Nigerian-mexician Drug Cartel Link by Grazza: 6:13pm On Sep 22, 2010
bleeping Americans,  why didn't they bust President Clinton and his MENA Drug Smuggling associates? Why didn't they  find out who killed the 2 teens that were left on the Railway track and made to look like an accident? How about American drug smuggling in Afghanistan by American Armed Forces and the CIA? Who brought drugs into America? Who killed Marilyn Monroe? Who killed JFK? Did Bush not attack Iraq by lying about the presence of WOMD? If there is no drug demand, who will border about the supply?

My people, there are always 2 versions to any story;
1. What really happened,
2. What the media reports that happened,

No matter how the so-called white people try to paint us as devils, the fact is we are closer to God than they are,
PEACE,

You were not in anyway insulting. What u mentioned is the bitter truth and I respect your candid opinion. I just wanted to drop my two cents as well.
Let our focus remain on how we can assist one another in this forum by disseminating useful and tested information that can place our feet on the right path.
I am tied up at the moment, but will give u a call in due course as mentioned earlier.

Kindest Cheers,

Thanks for sending across your contact. Will hit u in the near future. Let it b known: I do not believe in any get rich quick scheme and will discourage such. I am a believer in hard and smart work coupled with trusting the Almighty for all good things. Common sense goes a long way in giving any man the edge he/she needs in life.

@NEIGHBOUR

Thanks for your time. A quick question for u: Besides the business of providing transportation for hauling petroleum products in general, are there other serious profit making ventures in downstream market? I ask because of your knowledge and experience in this field.
We can discuss that offline if you so desire.

Thanks yet again for your swift response. When the forex conversion is taken into consideration, the Mack trucks turn out cheaper in the short run. I suppose this is as the case you mentioned in your initial response that the transporter may seek to protect his name and investment with the major by opting to handle driver wahala and truck maintenance based on an agreed upon deduction from my cheque.
JIC (just in case) will u happen to know a reliable and trustworthy manager?

@NEIGHBOUR

Bro: what more can I ask for? I appreciate your time and useful information as detailed in your response. A friend of mine has two trucks attached to a Transporter for one of the majors and is talking to me about getting in.
Thanks for clarifying some nagging concerns I had.
In this case, I will source for 2 Mack RD model trucks (95 - 99) and also source for where to rent tanks for N50k or </month. He has the connection with a transporter who will cut me a cheque for about N300K/month net of all expenses.
Will this be a fair deal?

Interesting read ups. Much thanks to all contributors for their useful and practical information.
Can someone shed some light on the standard procedure of attaching an oil tanker (33000lts) to a Transporter with an independent oil marketing company (Conoil/Oando)?
What's the average pay from the transporter to the owner?
Are contracts used as a general standard to guard against breeches from the transporter?
Is it a fact that the owner need not worry about managing the driver and repairs on the vehicle that is attached to the transporter?
