Politics / Re: So What Has Tinubu Achieved? A Fair Critique! by Great2017: 1:12pm On Jun 18, 2023
A very good analysis so to speak.

An objective analysis should be the tool for performance assessment but some persons think otherwise and gratify mediocrity.

I really wonder what they stand to enjoy.

How? Not supporting your parochial views or opinions now means social misdemeanor. Social platforms has really permitted conversational imbroglio by allowing every Tom, Dick and Harry.

na u Sabi ooo... Try go read and stop following mumu obidients like soyinka tagged una misbehaving looking for mandate that's not there... Ok... Incase u want APC to lose 2027 the solution is supporting PDP cos LP can't win presidency.. no amount of Insult and blackmail can make LP win it's simple... And like I said INEC said clearly collation of results is manual..
Oghenaogie, my etsako friend, I am apolitical. Is that too compounded to understand?

My estako friend, I am not looking for any mandate but a prosperous Nigeria for all Nigerians. So, I am apolitical and patriotic.

If what matters to you the most is APC, PDP, LP, Tinubu, Atiku and Obi, I wish you well.

akakurukukaku:

Do you know Tinubu as President has the power to suspend the constitution? Tinubu will suspend the constitution and arrest all the judges including the Chief Justice of the Federation. Tinubu will declare a state of Emergency and arrest Peter Obi. You don't know how powerful a sitting President is. Nigerian President is regarded as the most powerful President in the world in case you don't know
I will like to see where he got the power from. May be he got the power from you.

You are the one trying to misinform the public. INEC chairman clearly stated before the election that results won’t be transmitted real time to IREV from polling units and the story was reported by leading national newspapers like Punch, tribune and Vanguard. Links were provided on the thread that was moved to front page about the subject matter.
If really you are not misleading yourself, can you post these alleged reports for all to see?

Politics / Re: INEC Chairman Truly Did Announce That Results Will Not Be Transmitted Real Time by Great2017: 11:26am On Jun 17, 2023
sreamsense:

That of 23rd February 2023 refered to by one of the opposition lawyers that crossed examine is enough as evidence. If you like twist it as you like just as many of you twisted that of 25% in Abuja to suit your narrative before it was thrown out of window. He said it while addressing international observers and I have seen some more other links on this forum that points to same thing as Tribune, you can look out for the thread; for me, I have no extra time to waste educating you on this to avoid wasting my precious time.

You can believe what you like but reality is there for people to see. What the opposition refered to was so cleared even for the blinds and your press old release image of November 2022 can't negate recent Feb 2023 event, no matter how you twisted it to fit your narrative

The reality is raw figures will not be transmitted either real-time or otherwise because it can easily be manipulated. You and the lawyer can keep dribbling yourself.

Politics / Re: Tinubu’s Victory: AIT Broadcaster Ijeoma Osamor Testifies For Peter Obi by Great2017: 5:39am On Jun 17, 2023
Invest4growth:
Sorry the court has the right to declare the evidence of a witness as hostile. Meanwhile, Le the doubters not jubilate.yet. To counter this witness, APC will use Tribune reporter and he will give evidence on where he sourced the story confirming no real time transmission of results. We are just raising tension in the polity unnecessarily. This is Obis turn to give present witness. The defendants would have their own time and cross examinations.
The Tribune never said the INEC will not electronically transmit election results from polling unit in real-time. Rather, they said raw figures will not be transmitted whether real- time or not.

What they said is self explanatory except you are taking side. In that case, you are free to say anything but what you say cannot change the truth.

Chai which kain sense way una get sef?
Can't you read and understand the content before reacting?
Osamor was called in as a witness not to tender any sort of results but to prove that there was no time the INEC chairman said there will be no electronic transmission of results!
She made this claim by stating that she had participated in all of the INEC chairman's meetings and engagements where the commission boss stated explicitly that there will be electronic transmission of results from the PU contrary to a frivolous publication by Tribune newspaper!
The Tribune never said election results will not be transmitted. Rather, raw figures would not because it is easily susceptible to hacking.

It is better to read and understand.

The political astuteness of Tinubu's family is second to none. Seyi having a series of meetings with young elected lawmakers is quite remarkable, this family is really prepared for the tasks ahead. Rather than learn to play politics that transcends clannish mindset that has kept you in the wilderness since 1999. With the way Seyi is buijding bridges across party, religious and tribal lines, i won't be surprised if he clinches the Presidential seat before a southeastern does.
Even when they feed on poopoo, you will still call it political wisdom.

Time line shows that during that period, a certain part of Nigeria, had majority of their inhabitants leaving in huts and caves and walking almost naked. That region is the region which records the most crime committed in Nigeria and Abroad today. grin

Politics / Re: Who Will Inherit Buhari's Cult Following? by Great2017: 1:35pm On May 18, 2023
Svoboda:

Leaders come and go. Blind followership will always evolve from one generational leader to the other. In the east, it was zik, then ikemba, nnamdi kanu, and now Peter Obi. It has nothing to do with education. It is just a direct cocktail of ideology and fanaticsm.

In Pakistan, if not for the timely release of imran kahn from custody, the whole of 🇵🇰 would have been burnt down because of the angst of his blind followership.
I don't think Obi's followership is primarily attributed to blind followership. Yes, leaders would come and go but blind following will gradually wear away with time. As people become more informed, they would begin to form opinion based on the information at their disposal. Change is the only constant thing.

Blind followership will lose steam as people become more enlightened. Do you think otherwise?
Politics / Re: Who Will Inherit Buhari's Cult Following? by Great2017: 11:01pm On May 16, 2023
Nothing trends forever. Sooner or later, most of these followers would be enlightened enough to know that most politicians are not there to serve their interests. This will forever bury cult followership. Buhari is indeed very fortunate to have emerged in the era of blind followership. This will never be the case in the nearest future.

I thought Obidients are educated and well versed. If they are now comparing themselves with almanjiri that couldn't differentiate between left and right then what's the way forward. They should remember what happened during civil war and that heaven is falling is for everyone. It's someone that's alive that will be able to witness the desired change.
You should channel this to your professor who saw nothing wrong with Buhari's supporters during the 2011 and 2015 general elections but now sees everything wrong with the Obidient movement.

Only a fool will think that the seat of power that is not even up to a state will be given some powers that other states dont have just because it is the capital. Some people always reason with their anuses. So if I win in all the 36 states of the federation but lost in Abuja, then I cannot be president? How stupid could some people be. So people in Abuja are the most important people in the world. Haba. Use your brain man
When did 25% become winning ? Abuja is a check. Go and figure that out.

Common sense is not common again.
Tinubu till 2031.
The chance of that happening is very slim. You cannot win the 36 states with 90% of the votes cast and struggle to get 25% in Abuja. Abuja is a check

I don't really want to be president, but I want to hold the country to ransom. Since residents of Abuja are Super humans. One Abuja vote equals 100 votes elsewhere in the country. So I will just divert all my campaign resources to Abuja, win Abuja and create a stalemate, so the country is at standstill.

We can do a re-run several times, and I will keep winning Abuja even though I don't have a spread across the country, neither do I meet the other requirements. INEC can keep spending billions to conduct every re-run. It's not my business .
25% spread does not necessarily mean you have to win Abuja
