Omenlon: Sorry, you actually feel your pains. Yes, the law doesn't work with emotions. That is why Nigeria belongs to Nigerians and not you, the INEC or me. The INEC must logically explain to Nigerians why it jettisoned its guidelines for the Presidential elections but used same for the National Assembly elections despite both elections took place at the same time using same infrastructure and technology. Is the above based on emotions or a level playing ground for all the contestants including the umpire? |
Politics / Re: Appeal Court Voids Order On E-Transmission Of Election Results In Lagos by Great2017: 2:49pm On Jul 23, 2023 |
raskymonojendor: The INEC guidelines were actually made by the INEC before the elections contrary to your partially laced submission. The INEC even went as far as re-emphasizing their stand on this on both local and international platforms. Sane Nigerians would want to know why the INEC used its guidelines for the National Assembly elections and then deviated for the Presidential elections despite both occurred at the same time and used the same infrastructure and technology. If you don't see things from this rational angle, I am sorry, you are partisan. Nigeria cannot continue like this as if it belongs to the INEC or you. 1 Like |

raskymonojendor: When is the INEC suppose to exercise this very wide discretionary powers? Is it before the elections or during the elections or after the elections? Every unbiased mind knows that the rules guiding or regulating an event are made before the event starts. |

Afamed: Article 38 on Electronic Transmission of Results and Upload of Results to INEC’s Result Viewing Portal (IReV) states: “On completion of all the Polling Unit voting and results procedures, the Presiding Officer shall: (i) Electronically transmit or transfer the result of the Polling Unit, direct to the collation system as prescribed by the Commission. “(ii) Use the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) to upload a scanned copy of the EC8A to the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV), as prescribed by the Commission. “(iii) Take the BVAS and the original copy of each of the forms in tamper-evident envelope to the Registration Area/Ward Collation Officer, in the company of security agents. The Polling Agents may accompany the Presiding Officer to the RA/Ward Collation Centre.” 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Throwback Video Of Peter Obi Promising To Remove Subsidy Immediately by Great2017: 6:57am On Jul 23, 2023 |
Throwback:The only reality to sane Nigerians is that Tinubu's policies of subsidy removal and floating the naira without adequate plans have brought more hardship to Nigerians. Nigerians are suffering more than they did during the government of Buhari. That is the only reality and not what Obi said or did not say. When building a house, you start with the foundation before roofing. Tinubu is beginning with roofing instead of foundation and you don't see anything wrong with that. |
Politics / Re: Throwback Video Of Peter Obi Promising To Remove Subsidy Immediately by Great2017: 5:47am On Jul 23, 2023 |
Throwback:Are you blaming Obi for Tinubu's unplanned actions - subsidy removal and the floating of naira - ? This is really incredible and ridiculous. Very soon, you will blame Tinubu's failure on Buhari and Jonathan At least, you have agreed that Tinubu started as a failure. Whether you blame it on Obi, Atiku or Jonathan, that is immaterial to sane Nigerians. The way out should be your concern and not this blame game. Nigerians are far wiser than this primitive blame strategy of yours. 1 Like 1 Share |

Kobojunkie:If you do not hear first, how do you make a conscious effort to obey? Abraham heard first before he obeyed. Cain and Abel equally heard about their creator first before offering sacrifice to Him. Are you then saying they were born with the knowledge of offering sacrifice to God? You can hear from man or God |
