sangresan:
Most of those commending Adeleke here don't know the road leading to Osun State.

The truth is that Gov. Ademola Adeleke has been a huge disappointment so far. He is empty and clueless on issues of governance. He claimed to have sunk 332 boreholes in all the wards in the state. But a voyage of discovery across the local government areas in Osun will show that most of these boreholes exist on paper and, wherever they were actually constructed, they are not functional.

What do you call the one that owed workers salaries for months?

It appears that Tinubu is showing strong commitment to meeting the deadline for submitting the Ministerial list by replacing 4 names. This shows his determination to ensure that the right individuals are selected for these positions. It is commendable that he is taking the necessary steps to ensure that the chosen candidates possess the qualifications and skills needed to effectively serve in these roles. This decision demonstrates Tinubu's attention to detail and focus on selecting the best team for the country's progress.
All your submissions are based on assumption. This is the same assumption that brought us where we are now. Continue to deceive yourself with your assumption.

I feel your pain bro, but law doesn't work with emotion.

Sorry, you actually feel your pains.

Yes, the law doesn't work with emotions. That is why Nigeria belongs to Nigerians and not you, the INEC or me.

The INEC must logically explain to Nigerians why it jettisoned its guidelines for the Presidential elections but used same for the National Assembly elections despite both elections took place at the same time using same infrastructure and technology.

Is the above based on emotions or a level playing ground for all the contestants including the umpire?

raskymonojendor:

They can decide to use that discretionary power anytime they want. They have no laws binding them to use one all through an election.

This "before, during or after" was an imaginary rule created in the minds of deluded Obidients or atikulated.

The court held that Section 50(2) and Section 60(5) give INEC “very wide discretionary powers” to determine how it transmits or transfers election results.

“As I had demonstrated earlier in this judgment, the Electoral Act gives the 43rd respondent (INEC) discretion on HOW IT CARRIES out its assignment including how it transmits or transfers the result of election from polling units,” Umar stated.

The INEC guidelines were actually made by the INEC before the elections contrary to your partially laced submission.

The INEC even went as far as re-emphasizing their stand on this on both local and international platforms.

Sane Nigerians would want to know why the INEC used its guidelines for the National Assembly elections and then deviated for the Presidential elections despite both occurred at the same time and used the same infrastructure and technology.

If you don't see things from this rational angle, I am sorry, you are partisan.

Nigeria cannot continue like this as if it belongs to the INEC or you.

What part of the bolded statement below do you not understand? It's already on plain English. Maybe we should translate it to broken english lol.

When is the INEC suppose to exercise this very wide discretionary powers? Is it before the elections or during the elections or after the elections?

Every unbiased mind knows that the rules guiding or regulating an event are made before the event starts.

Mention the particular Inec guidelines

Article 38 on Electronic Transmission of Results and Upload of Results to INEC’s Result Viewing Portal (IReV) states: “On completion of all the Polling Unit voting and results procedures, the Presiding Officer shall: (i) Electronically transmit or transfer the result of the Polling Unit, direct to the collation system as prescribed by the Commission.

“(ii) Use the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) to upload a scanned copy of the EC8A to the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV), as prescribed by the Commission.

“(iii) Take the BVAS and the original copy of each of the forms in tamper-evident envelope to the Registration Area/Ward Collation Officer, in the company of security agents. The Polling Agents may accompany the Presiding Officer to the RA/Ward Collation Centre.”

There is no blame game here, but a call to reality for the hypocrites who claim Nigerians are suffering due to the wicked policy of the Tinubu regime, when in actual fact it was a policy their own failed candidate also espoused.
The only reality to sane Nigerians is that Tinubu's policies of subsidy removal and floating the naira without adequate plans have brought more hardship to Nigerians. Nigerians are suffering more than they did during the government of Buhari. That is the only reality and not what Obi said or did not say.

When building a house, you start with the foundation before roofing. Tinubu is beginning with roofing instead of foundation and you don't see anything wrong with that.

Dude, we are all suffering owing to the removal of subsidy that Obi also promised to remove on his 1st day if voted to power.

Only those who supported or voted candidates that did not have subsidy removal as a major and urgent policy decision on their campaign, have the right to lament.

You being an Obidient and me being a Batist, have no reason to lament.

We got what we supported or voted for.

Are you blaming Obi for Tinubu's unplanned actions - subsidy removal and the floating of naira - ? This is really incredible and ridiculous.

Very soon, you will blame Tinubu's failure on Buhari and Jonathan

At least, you have agreed that Tinubu started as a failure. Whether you blame it on Obi, Atiku or Jonathan, that is immaterial to sane Nigerians.

The way out should be your concern and not this blame game. Nigerians are far wiser than this primitive blame strategy of yours.

So, who snapped the blurred picture? Obi's team or INEC's team? So, whose onus is it to bring the original document?

A baby is born into an unbelieving world to choose whether or not to believe. And when one chooses to pursue God, one is either learns to obey God through the teaching of His disciples or one is taught by God Himself. undecided
I am not interested in all you have muddled up there. My concern is you cannot call a day old baby an unbeliever

Kobojunkie:
Nobody is born with the knowledge of God but we are caused to consider Him through experiences we have in life and make a decision for or against Him then. undecided

2. Nobody is born into this world connected to God from birth by default; God Himself made sure of that in Genesis 3 vs 16 when He cursed the process of childbearing. undecided
So, a day old baby is not an unbeliever. He or she has to hear first before deciding whether to believe or not. Unfortunately, this cannot be determined for a day old baby.
Religion / Re: Where Would A New Born Baby Go To After Death Heaven/hell Or Where Else? by Great2017: 5:54pm On Jul 17, 2023

1. Paul's statement in Romans 2 had to do with being taught by other humans. Paul, however, made it clear that He was not taught by other humans but by God Himself so his statement in Romans 2 did not even apply to Him. Read what Paul said in Romans 10 and Galatians 1 for more info. undecided

The story is that no man taught Abel of God, and not even Abraham. So what Paul said of hearing having to do with being taught to obey God's Law does not apply to either men as well. undecided
Were they born with the knowledge of God?

Were you also born with the knowledge of your biological father?

A day old baby is not an unbeliever as you painted him or her to be.
Religion / Re: Where Would A New Born Baby Go To After Death Heaven/hell Or Where Else? by Great2017: 5:47pm On Jul 17, 2023
Kobojunkie:
1. It comes by way of a conscious choice made to either believe there is a God or not. undecided

2. Belief in God and hence Faith --- continuous submission and obedience to God's teachings and commandments --- does not come by hearing of the Word but rather by choice made either in obedience of God's command. Two very good examples of this are Abel and Abraham. Both choose to believe in God and to obey even when those around them chose not to. undecided

By the way, Paul, the one you quoted there explained in Romans 10 and Galatians 1 that His knowledge of Jesus Christ did not come from hearing from any man but direct from God Himself. So, you probably don't want to keep going around quoting that verse without having a clear understanding of the message intended by the writer. undecided
If you do not hear first, how do you make a conscious effort to obey?

Abraham heard first before he obeyed.

Cain and Abel equally heard about their creator first before offering sacrifice to Him. Are you then saying they were born with the knowledge of offering sacrifice to God?

You can hear from man or God

How does believing in God start? We know that Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God.

From the beginning, God said unbelievers will perish in the grave- Genesis 3 vs 19 - 24 - since their life ends when they die I.e. no after life. Jesus Christ is the one who later said that if you are not born-again,you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God - John 3 vs 1- 21 - to those who will choose to believe in Him. And Heaven and Hellfire are both inside of the Kingdom of God. undecided
