I can see Jumia BMCs jumping up and down in this thread. Lalasticlala move this to fp
don't worry. I think lalasticlala is compromised on this issue.

Phones / Samsung Told Me The Phone I Bought From Jumia Is A Fake China Device – Angry Man by great67: 2:37pm On May 13, 2018
A Lagos-based man is furious at Jumia e-commerce company over a fake phone that was sold to him as a Samsung phone from the official Jumia website.
Okoye Stanley said he bought a supposed “Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016)” with order number 372911546-9953 and IMEI 355010/07/858351/7 on March 1st 2018. Shortly after the phone arrived, it became partially blind such that he took it to a Samsung office for repair under warranty but he made a shocking discovery: the “Samsung” phone he paid for is actually a fake phone. He said he was not able to get a response from Jumia after contacting them on several platforms.

Good morning peeps. This is to inform you on fake online platforms that also sell fake products to unsuspecting buyers.I bought a Samsung galaxy a7 2016 smart phone with order number from jumia on 1st of March 2018.Just two weeks ago(28 april),I observed an ink dent on the inside of the phone screen(note-the phone did not fall nor fall inside water).l sent jumia series of complaints on their Facebook page and email address regarding the state of the phone l bought from them, they did not respond to any.Just a week ago,l noticed the ink was gradually spreading to the rest of the screen,so l had to call the jumia delivery guy who delivered the phone to me in Port Harcourt (Mr Jacob Godwin-09037736151).He said l should take it to any Samsung service centre for repairs because it is under warranty. When l got there, the lady just removed the pouch and quickly said “nay nay”.She told me that the phone doesn’t have warranty.l swallowed my spit in excitement and enquired to know why, because l just bought it.She told me outrightly it is a fake phone. Then l called the jumia delivery guy for like five times to tell him the challenge l had, he did not pick and hasn’t called back uptill now.l took the phone to two different repair centres just to confirm the lady’s statement,l was told the phone is fake.l went back to the Samsung centre to know if it could be repaired and the lady told me it’s 40k only for the screen and there’s high chance of the ink affecting other parts of the phone. This is my second bad experience from jumia. The first was when I bought a gold wrist watch in 2016 and the whole thing peeled off after some months. Please be informed and share to avoid the mistake l made.
