Winning the popular is not really about trump, it’s about the demography of voters.

Most states with high population are blue state.

A republican candidate has won the popular votes once in the last 30 years and that is George bush in 2004.

Historically democrats are known to perform better in popular votes than republican.

Without the electoral college, Democrat can call the White House their family house.
