There was no exams. We bought jamb de form,chose ui as 1st choice and den submitted official transcript for nd,nce and degree. Alevel just submited olevel and alevel result. If u r applyin from a coe to faculty of edu u dont need to submit ur transcript. Ur statement of result is what is needed. After dat we waited for d sale of uis de form. Dis yr we paid in d bank and it was only one...so it was really stressful. Especially fordose dat stayfar away. Some pipl werent even aware of dis until it was late. My advice is dat u shuld try and join available watsapp grps so as to be uptodat on info....we all know information is power. Also one has to be careful in fillin dis form and also follow all instructions to d LETTER. Dis is whr disqualification starts. Also ensure ur transcript gets there as soon as possible to avoid late hr rush. Above all pray seriously for favour cos dat was what dis yrs admission was all abt. A lot of pipl werent admitted even wit deir distinctions. Im already missing a lot of friends dat i hoped to seeand study wit but i believe strongly dat God has a reason for everytin. I tink dat covers it all.

So happy.. All my friends from A-Z in d same dept dt chose U.I were all offered admission today in University Of Ibadan via Direct Entry to 200L. Wel am stil waiting for OAU... Dt is to say d best student in a dept may not be d first to gain Direct Entry admission..
HOPE WE WONT REGRET OF MAKING OAU IFE OUR FIRST CHOICE... OAU Ife is really slow in admission nd everything.. Confirmed!! Assuming it can be reversed i would have made my DE first choice to be University of Ibadan.

Welcome bro, we are in d month of admission already, list might come out dis month november or probably december.. Dt of next year could be false or probably true.

It is unfortunate dt OAU misplaced d second list admission after it has been thoroughly compiled so d list would be re compiled starting it afresh and may involve several days..

Aspirants are required to exercise more patient as they await d list to come at any time from now, probably tomorrow, next week, next month, next year or upper year 2017

From observation, OAU DE accounting aspirants are quite much also public admin and Law.

As a matter of fact almost 1/3 of total DE aspirants belong to faculty of administration, no wonder d faculty was d only one dt released its departmental cut off so as to reduce dis enormous aspirants to d lowest level not beyond d university capacity.

NOTE: The processes of admitting Direct Entry aspirants in OAU remains d same but minimum of 50% post DE score is required.

2nd Admission list wil be released anytime from now..

I finished ond 5 years ago, after sec school, I planned and dreamt to finish uni @20,and service 21. here I am over 21,waiting for a miracle. my friends that went for hnd are working,some married self. though I dont regret not going for hnd cos my years @ home, I enrolled for ican,and I am now @ d final stage. thats y I advice Young nd holders 'obtain de form as many as possible but have hnd as back up.

Hi friend,I would say Greatguru already adviced you,though it was harsh,sadly its true,I would say don't pay the acceptance fee for HND,Yes! You don't want to lay your eggs in one basket,I would say focus on DE,look for an IT placement,even if DE fails,try again next year(ensure you know exactly why it "didn't" work out) while you are at a firm gaining quality experIence.I tell you friend,there are lots of HND grads out there,still rushing to apply for DE,the discrimination out there is appalling.At a point in ones life,we all need to focus,focus real hard,know exactly what we want,and go for it,even if it didn't work out,be ready to take the risk and try again till we win,so we wouldn't be swerved by the wind of life.Its your decision friend...

Wait for a moment, are u d only one to first apply for HND? Everytime i don gain admission to Offa, Ilara, Ikoyi etc.... Ur mates are in covenant university while some in Akungba.

After the meeting of Deans held
on the 2nd of November, 2015. It
is obvious that the admission list
will be released sooner than we
can imagine. Many of the Deans
complained of over-shooting the stipulated quota given to them
by the school management. Total
of 4,802 names was collated and
endorsed. Over 4, 523 names
were rejected in total by all the
faculties especially from Arts (1,563) and sciences(1,321). The
most affected DE aspirants came
from Public Administration with
only 56 admitted DE aspirants
from over 698 admission seekers.
