Cruxifizio:yeah |
Cruxifizio:i was about to ask him the same question. The thing must be paining the guy. |
Guardiola has only one year remaining on his current contract at Manchester City, but Pochettino believes continued success at the Etihad is not solely down to the manager. "Manchester City is a club that provided everything for him to win," said Pochettino, who congratulated City on their title victory. "But Man City in the last 10 years won with different managers. "He is a great manager and if the club help him to be stronger every season I'm sure he'll be close every season. That is no doubt. "For me, he deserves full credit, the players, the coach and the staff." |
Meanwhile, Southampton manager Mark Hughes was unhappy that Marcos Alonso had escaped a red card after a high boot caught Shane Long on the back of his calf at the end of the first half. The Southampton manager faces Chelsea again next Sunday in the FA Cup and has called for the player to receive a retrospective ban, after referee Mike Dean appeared to miss the incident. "It was a poor challenge, a really poor challenge," Hughes said. "It should have been a red card, clearly. I am disappointed that the officials didn't see it. They were all within a 10 or 15 metre radius. I think between the referee, linesman or fourth official that one of them should have seen it. "It was a poor tackle, it was a tackle that thankfully had no drastic consequences for Shane. Thankfully he is okay, he just got a rake down the calf. Clearly, with Chelsea down to 10 men and us in first half on the ascendancy, it is a slant on the game really. "Those are key moments and referees have got to get them right, maybe that's why the [Premier League] referees are not at the World Cup this year." |
*Two fishes were swimming when they saw a piece of meat dangling before them*. The younger fish darted toward it with an open mouth. The older fish cried out, “Stop"! ✋ "You can’t see it, but there is a hook inside that meat. It is connected by an invisible line to a pole outside the water. There is a man holding the pole" "THE *TRUTH* is, if you eat the meat, the hook will catch in your jaw and the man will pull you out of the water. He will cut you open with a knife, roast you on a fire and eat you. Then he will throw your remains to his cat.” The young fish stopped. The two swam away. But when the young fish was alone, he thought to himself, “Let me investigate the *truth* myself how accurate these lousy claims are" He went back to the meat, swam around it, above and below it. He swam as far as he could in widening circles around the meat. After a long search, he said to himself, “I’ve looked far and wide, and *I haven’t found any sign of a man, a pole, a knife, a fire or a cat.* In fact, I’ve found nothing outside this water we live in" I have come to realise my *truth* "These must just be stories made up to limit our freedoms" He went back to the meat and ate it. The hook caught in his jaw, he felt himself being yanked out of the water. For sure *He saw a pole, a man and a knife, and a little further, he saw the man's cat sleeping in a shade,* but at that point his knowledge of *the TRUTH* was useless. *MORAL OF THE STORY* *It is exactly the story of the Great Gospel and Mysteries of the Bible.* Some of them are beyond our comprehension. We now don't see Satan, Angels, Jesus or His judgement seat, no, we don't see the eternal fire of hell at all, but of course we will realize all along that it was *THE TRUTH* vs our truth, and that will be only when death eventually strikes. But Alas! *Too late forever* May God let us heed to the *TRUTH* while it is useful to us. Amen. JESUS said, *"I AM the way, the TRUTH and the life* Nobody goes to the Father without me. *Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book* Revelation 22:7 Do same n share with others. God bless U |
Eruditor:try to be understanding people's post before you quote them. I don't want to have headache this night. |
raumdeuter:you keep mentioning the 'local league'? A genius that has not been able to form another Messi (like you guys claim he did at Barcelona) in 5 years to win an international cup. |
Eruditor:which club did he win treble consistently? I hope you are not talking about trophies. Enrique won in all his seasons. |
Eruditor:did anyone call him genius? |
Eruditor:seriously!!? I thought it was a joke. Do you seriously not understand anything from that? |
Eruditor:did anyone call him genius? |
raumdeuter:you called him a genius. You mean the local league? |
raumdeuter:abi Google no dey work for your phone? Use am nah. |
Branzy:I am not saying that I agree or not, but Chelsea won it from 6th position Liverpool is yet to win the league but has more than one ucl in that period. Good number of such cases. |
raumdeuter:but you told us that he is not a genius and that he does not need to spend much to win and form another Messi from sterling. |
airmark:as in, I come dey wonder whether na still raumdeuter. The L hit am with speed. |
raumdeuter:no. He is not a player. He is a walking corpse. But, you are the same person that will tell us that hazard should have won ucl with 38 years old lampard and Drogba, 35 years old ashley Cole and Terry. Your hypocrisy stinks to high heaven. |
raumdeuter:
|
raumdeuter:i can't believe you can come up with this lame defense. You have really been cornered. |
airmark:oga na master |
raumdeuter:
|
airmark:lol. Oga you wicked o |
Nihilstjnr:that is where the issue of pressure is and also not getting the things you asked for. The pressure can really throw a manager off balance. Only in Chelsea that a manager's job will be under serious threat if lost three times consecutively. Only losing to Liverpool and arsenal last season, dem don the scrutinise the job. |
Nihilstjnr:choi! That one pain o. Na him sabi wetin bats do am |
Nihilstjnr:yeah. But, will you remember that his subs were hailed last season as superb. What happened? |
raumdeuter:after everything them go give am 2 epl trophies? The trophy go different from the one them give raneiri? |
I repeat, there is no manager in the game that will not be sacked in this current Chelsea in 2 seasons, at most 3 seasons. They hire today and sack tomorrow without giving the coach the time, money and freedom to build a consistent team. The manager, instead of relaxing to build a great team, he will be under pressure to deliver and he will just do the things that will give him results so he can last longer enough to continue collecting the money. Hazard, cahill and azpi have already played under 5 managers in the space of 6 years. Just take a look at Klopp and Liverpool. If Klopp does not win anything this season, he may still not likely be sacked. The other men in Manchester even have the freedom to buy throw away the ones that are not good and still get another money to buy more. A coach in this clubs have the time to gradually instill their philosophy into the players. Creating a system that will allow even a new good player to slot in effortlessly and look great. I think it is time i stop blaming our players and coaches and divert it Roman until we he stops seeing the club like one of his businesses. Like a business club. |
My verdict. Chelsea is a useless club now, but Southampton is more useless. |
raumdeuter:go and read the post again and please, don't do this
|
raumdeuter:you of all people should not say that. By your logic, this is his best season of the three season. 25 goals and assists. Have you forgotten 'what matters'? |
nitrogen:if the stats is goals and assists, then he has already surpassed that of last season, yet he is having one of his worst season. |
lordfalcao:he is too much of a team player and needs everyone to play well with him for his best to show. This is because his game has much to do with breaking forward and exchanging short passing. Not individualistic and does not have a high mental strength to be a leader when others are discouraging. |
