giselle237: You can not reapply without explaining everything you bungled up. Where did all these forex come from.. Where and how are you making 45m a year? No proof.. surely someone earning 4m a month in Nigeria would have travel history. Sorry they don’t want to be the ones to give a visa to you as your circumstances appear fishy even though they may not actually be but they appear fishy. No travel history but all these forex? Surely someone with all these billions should have a trace to their finances and some substantial ties to Nigeria. Where are your investments? Where are your ties? Where are your properties? Where are your houses? No house … and you started staying in your current place 10 months ago… If you noted this as rented, more red flags. No bought property? Where are your shares? Stock? Where are your assets in billions to match this huge amount of money? The red alert they would put on your application no be here. 25000 pounds on an 11 day trip does not add up. 3 kids do not need more than 1000 per person. Adult max out 1600-2000 per person. But truly that is not the burden now. Your finances are very very skeptical. Even the British Prime minister might not even be mentioning this kinds of amounts how much more you a Nigerian and you can not prove its source? Re trace your steps as no ECO can give you a visa with such profile. The sources are the business and the contract documents and POs were attached. The jobs were done in USd |

Manlikechims: ALL SPOT on at what cashmadam stated.
In my own case I am self employed. Though I am a FREQUENT traveler and have had multiple UK visas, i always renew my visa as though its a fresh application. I had less than a million naira in my primary personal account infact in one of my accounts I had less than 20, 000 naira but their was history of inflows and outflows which were substantial amounts and evidence that I was the one spending as some were POS transactions and withdrawals. My business account had the bulk of my funds but also evidence that I am able to spend from my business account. Which also reflected in the statement of account for things like domestic staff salaries, kids fees etc
I moved money into another personal account from my business account which I had intended to use to pay for the visa fees for myself and family the day before printing my statement. This didn’t raise any issues because funds came from my business account and it wasn’t an usual thing.
To be honest, if I were the ECO I’d also have refused you. This is well noted |

Cashmadam: 25k Pounds for 5 people to spend how many days in the UK on vacation?
That is enough reason for a refusal. There are other reasons that I spotted in the refusal letter but this 25k is more than enough reason for refusal.
UK visa officers are not impressed with money like the average Nigerian. With your millions or billions, they will happily deny you visa.
Next time, please note that you don't need more than 2,000 Pounds per person. That is 10,000 Pounds for a family of 5.
Another red flag, I assume you have no travel history. Yet, so much money in your accounts. To the visa officer, it's not adding up...
Your monthly cost of living is too high in comparison to your stated income.
If you earn 45m per annum, how did you save so much money in FX? The visa officer would wonder...
Your bank statements do not reflect your new address..
You need to tidy up your financial circumstance. Don't think all they want to see is money. No. They want to see how you can afford the trip and most importantly, ties to Nigeria that will bring you back after your vacation.
Good luck! Thanks for your input. However, what do you advice when reapplying |

Manlikechims: Did you add a cover note explaining your source of income etc? The 25k does sound outrageous sha. I think you need to shed more light on the the circumstances so people here can advise you appropriately. Their a lot of folks in here who are very knowledgeable on this. How many kids etc? I think we always assume they will understand. These guys like explanations and transparency. The 25K is for 5 persons, husband and wife and 3 children |
