Tales by moonlight.

The one you told to "cut and run" on the other thread may experience the same thing and if her regret story is told here in the future, you will still call it tales by moonlight.

For those of us who understands international politics, we are not surprised at all. The double standard have always been there for those who have eyes and can see to notice. The happenings in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan etc have long made this clear as no one was ever held responsible for the evils done to these countries.

Remember the statement "We came, we conquered and he Died"?

The rot in the system is deep and wholesome. So, a holistic approach is required in tackling it.

We must realized that our present crop of leaders will not change for good until we force the change on them through the ballot box by voting for credible candidates from unpopular political parties!

Here we are in 2021 and all that interests the ruling class/elites is how to fix themselves up in 2023 general elections and beyond while an average ordinary Nigerian is presently being ravaged by the biting inflation, unemployment, insecurity and lack of access to proper health care.

The funny thing is that majority of us seems not to learn as history have shown. This is because when the much anticipated 2023 general elections finally comes, the majority will still betray the thinking few by selling their votes to the oppressors/charlatans who call themselves leaders.

Hopefully, we do be wiser by then having gone through the present trying times!

The current set of Nigerian politicians sees politics as business instead of service and until this attitude is changed, things will definitely remain the same.

The decay in the Nigerian society is enormous both in infrastructure and behavioral/cultural values. In the midst of all these, the root cause which is bad leadership must be tackled in good faith.
Politics / Re: The Nigeria We Need: How To Get From Where We Are To Where We Want To Be by Greatsm(m): 6:51pm On Jul 07, 2021
This is what a leader, Xi Jinping said about his country:

“no one should underestimate the resolve, the will, and ability of the Chinese people to defend their national sovereignty and territorial integrity” and “we will never allow anyone to bully, oppress, or subjugate China,” adding that anyone who tries to do so would “have their heads bashed bloody against the Great Wall of Steel forged by over 1.4 billion Chinese people.”

This shows a country that have a direction and whose leaders serve selflessly to the benefit of all! Which way Nigeria?

"The statement read in part, “We note that the demand that the next President of Nigeria should come from the southern region unambiguously represents the opinion of the majority of Nigerians across board, in tandem with the already
established rotation of presidency position between southern and northern Nigeria."

The above is the way forward. And I advocate that the national assembly pass a law to make it statutory.

It is time we stop empowering our common enemies! Who are these enemies if not the bad leaders at every level of government; from local, state, state and national assemblies and the Federal. Next time there are elections, vote for candidates with track records of good work for humanity and not those who share some few thousands to buy votes!

Now is the time to rejuvenate this nation!

Yes, Nigeria can flourish again!!! Now is the time and this our generation must do all that is needed to create this change. I want you to partake in this glorious and honorable clarion call to Nation building. Let think the change, speak the change, create the change, implement the change and live the change that we desire.

This may seem to be too much to ask for at a time like this when a lot of things have gone wrong. With the insecurity (terrorism, banditry and the new one called unknown gun men), inflation, unemployment, wanton corruption etc all biting us harder than ever before but it is not, because difficult times always precedes peace and challenges always lead to breakthrough if handled courageously. So, I see this moment as the time to act. The time when a little effort can lead to great results!

I want you to know that now is the time you ask yourself what you can do to make Nigeria great. As you do this, you will realize that you have just presented yourself as an agent of the change that we seek and the change we desire to build the most loved, cherished and successful nation in the world. God bless you and long live Nigeria!!

If you have not use your decoder for some months and now you want to start using it again, do not subscribe through your app as the decoder will be inactive. So, take it to the nearest dstv office for it to be activated and subscribed for you.

There are some rare occasions when your meter reading while tracking for signal shows readings in which the signal strength level will be 70 and above and the quality will still remain at 30 and hence red and yellow colours will not show. This implies that you are at the right position but the LNB need to be adjusted a bit and the signal will show up.
