I got my passport around August.

Suprised you weren't given a small paper slip for collection date,Although from observation that paper is meant to control applicants from coming at a particular day which may result to crowd.Did mine in June ,and paper slip carries August for collection.

Your observation is valid.
If I'm not able to go there this week, then I'll wait till month end.

I asked the officer who gave me the slip (ERN number) when I should return, she said I will get a call from them.

Ater capturing, I was given a slip (ERN number).
Please I want to know if I go for my passport this week.
Date of application: 25th May
Date of capturing: 10th June

Thanks boss.. if u noticed, I put up an update on my first comment B4 dis reply..
So I was able to get my stuff sorted out.. I enrolled, did my biometrics nd capturing today..
After I got my confirmation slip, I checked my application tracker and saw production stage... I was happy... I didn't give shishi to anyone shaa.. except d officer dat checked if my details were accurate..
I gave her 1k for card...

So fast forward to the this night, I checked back the tracker and saw it has gone back to application received but initially it was in production "passport awaiting production"..
Shud I be worried? Has anybody faced such

I did my biometrics/capturing today, and the changes happened just like you said.

Meanwhile, e be like say everybody wan finally japa o because the huge crowd I met there scared me. Lol

I just applied for the Nigerian passport DIY in Owerri immigration service, it was very fast and seamless for the biometric and capturing. Did my capturing on 3rd July.

Anyone who’s seeing this can inform the estimated time for the passport to be produced.

speaking from personal experience,I picked Monday 2nd June as appointment day,was unable to go, was there on Tuesday 3rd June .After my documents where vetted ,was asked to proceed for capturing .
At the capturing room they discovered my appointment day was supposed to be Monday 2nd,they collected my vetted documents ,asked me to wait outside until my date of appointment changed to a new one ( it took less than an hour ) i was called in to do capturing.
Ekitimanalways is right aswell, you will be attended to and capturing will be done , but that date you picked will be changed at their office for capturing to take place .

They will help to backdate your scheduled appointment,it may take some few hours/minutes before you're allowed for capturing or better resheduled the appointment if the option is available at your centre ,That way u know you aren't going to be questioned by any immigration officer why you made a mistake of picking a public holiday

FG already declared 6th and 9th as public holidays. And from the screenshot attached below, the two days are not striked.

Also, this ready for enrollment and NIN verification are yet to change.

I've just printed my Standard Passport Application, Payment receipt, and Appointment slip and I've also booked an appointment. I hope I'm on the right track?
Also this is what my status is showing. Please, how long does it take to change?

After successfully paying the passport application fee, the next step is to print the acknowledgment slip and receipt, and schedule an appointment for biometric data capture.

Your data will be verified from the National Identity Database at the NIMC. So, your names, date of birth and gender must match exactly with the information provided on your Nigerian passport application. Any discrepancies can cause delays or even rejection of your passport application.

My data on my NIN matches with the information on my passport.

Although there's little I can do, my only concern now is about the occupational part where my NIN generated Student, so I was thinking I would have included my current profession to it.

You're issued the right document. The NPC attestation of birth is available only to individuals aged 17 and above. Those under 17 can only apply for a standard birth certificate.

After payment what should I do next, please?

I was supposed to ask this particular question earlier before submitting, but it skipped my mind.
I'm currently running a conversion program and at the same time, I work as a Site Engineer. My NIN already has my occupation generated as 'student' on the passport portal.

I hope there won't be issues? I'm just thinking maybe, I should have added 'Site Engineer/student' instead of 'student' alone.

You reside in Osogbo. Go to the NPC office to get your attestation of birth.

I think NPC office address in Osun State is: Adjacent Federal Road Safety Office Zone XI, Abere, Osogbo.

Yes, enter your Rivers State address as your permanent one and Osun State address as your current.
It does not matter if a Nigerian passport applicant's state of origin is different from his or her state(s) of residence.

However, the NPC portal for birth certificate is not working from my end. Any heads-up about that, please?

If your application is yet to be approved by tomorrow, on the day of your capturing or enrollment go to SERVICOM office located within the premises of the Passport Office you selected for capturing or enrollment. SERVICOM should resolve your issue of 'application awaiting approval'.

I got stuck at contact information. My family reside in Rivers state, while my current address is Osun state. Can I use Rivers state as my Permanent address and Osun as Current address? My state of origin is also different from the two states mentioned.
