Mine did that, I scanned and saw one of my o2 sensors was bad. Infact the car was being driven on default fuel air mixture. That is the setting the ecu is set to work with if it is not receiving input from the sensors.
After o2 sensor was replaced I scanned again and saw fuel air mixture being controlled by data from o2 sensors.
The smoke stopped and instead water drops from the exchust in the morning.
