bazoodo:
man aren't animals. God said man should dominate the earth and all on it including animals
Well, what I see inside when I butcher a cow and goat, is exactly what I see inside a human when I conduct a surgery. So, beside the fact that we have higher faculty for reasoning, humans and animals both have sex for recreational and reproductve reasons, both die and have the same organs which perform the same functions. God didn't tell me anything, all I have said is from logical reasoning and you can choose to believe in a book written thousands of years ago and call it fact, thats not my cup of tea.

We got here when men kept raising the bar to get underneath..

It was never sustainable.
It is the naturat order of things... Even male animals go out of their way to impress a female to get laid. No difference in humans. But because of our advanced way of doing things... Females have decided to capitalize on it. As for me, if it is not too expensive, I am willing to give something in return, but if it is expensive, I will go for anther, afterall, the feeling is just the same.

If I were Fubara, I would have accepted this peace deal a long time ago and play my own tune in the background. There are ways to do things that fools the aggressor, making them think you are on their side, while pulling the strings unseen. Now, I believe Fubara would be wiser. You dont fight fire with fire.
TravelRe: The Evolution Of Concorde's Designs Over The Times (Photo) by greygoblings(m): 4:24pm On Jun 25, 2025
Racoon:
The British Airways Landor livery seems to be the best, then followed by the Air France own. So sad, Concorde time in the technology advancement of aviation was cut short to early.

Otherwise, the world would have been regaled with many fascinating liveries if all the major airlines across the world were able to operate it.
With the sonic boom and safety records (many near misses as well as the incident shared by the OP), it wouldn't survive.

Major Accident
1. Air France Flight 4590 – The Only Fatal Crash
Date: July 25, 2000

Location: Gonesse, France (shortly after takeoff from Charles de Gaulle Airport)

Operator: Air France

Fatalities: 113 (100 passengers, 9 crew, 4 people on the ground)

What Happened:

A metal strip from a Continental Airlines DC-10 that took off before the Concorde fell onto the runway.

The strip punctured a Concorde tire, sending debris into the fuel tank.

A fire started in the wing; the plane lost thrust in one engine and failed to gain altitude.

It crashed into a hotel.

✅ This crash grounded the fleet for over a year and led to major safety overhauls.

⚠️ Notable Incidents and Near Misses

2. 1979: Engine Failure During Takeoff – Dulles Airport, Washington D.C.
What Happened: One engine failed on takeoff. The flight crew aborted the takeoff safely.

Outcome: No injuries, but the incident led to questions about Concorde's safety margins with engine failure.

3. 1982: In-Flight Engine Shutdown
Location: En route to Washington D.C.

What Happened: An engine was shut down mid-flight due to a mechanical issue.

Outcome: Concorde could fly safely on 3 engines, so the flight landed without incident.

4. 1989: Tyre Blowout During Takeoff – JFK Airport
What Happened: A tire burst on takeoff roll, damaging a hydraulic line.

Outcome: Safe takeoff and landing. Similar to the type of event that later caused the 2000 crash.

5. 2003: Near Mid-Air Collision
Location: Over the Irish Sea

What Happened: A Concorde on a farewell flight came dangerously close to another aircraft due to air traffic control miscommunication.

Outcome: Resolved quickly, but noted as a serious airspace coordination error.

You're both not following both moral and divine order.

If you really love him, both of you should repent and decide to follow divine and moral order.
You both need to leave the relationship and learn to be complete without depending on each other.
Then you will simply complement the person you;re meant to marry.
She is asking for advice and you are here typing bull poop.

Never get upset when you hear about your partner‘s past.what matters is now.

You are together now. This is what counts. Now that he‘s met you. Never let his/her past repeat again.

Help them build a better now which translate into future. Hallelujah.
How can you now where you are going if you don't know where you've been? The past defines the present and future.

I just wasted my time to read through the damn rubbish you put up there, I was thinking that your dad did something wrong/ terrible that made you called your father a wicked man.

Please what have you contributed to your father ever since you became a man to knows when to termed someone a wicked person? what have you done to support him in your little way or you just fold your arms, crossed your legs and expect your father to do everything for you.

My advice for you is to get busy with something good to support your parents.
From his message I suspect he/she is from a toxic home where one parent is turning the children against the other parent.

So use it wisely.

"My pastor said I'll deliver like a Hebrew woman"...I once heard my neighbour's pregnant wife telling someone on the phone.

She placed much trust on her pastor than her doctor.

To be frank, if I have an organisation, I'll first employ a gambler before employing a religious fanatic.
I so hate religious fanatics with passion. Same thing happenned when I was working in a hospital and my hatred for religious people started... That poor beautiful woman died because of what their pastor told her brainwashed husband. I even told him that he is making a choice between death and life for his wife and he looked at me as if I didnt know what I was saying, like I am the devil... At the end of the day she died and he was crying rolling on the ground, we told him that he killed her and he should call his pastor to console him.
Foreign AffairsRe: In Just Six Days, Israel Has Changed The Middle East Forever. by greygoblings(m): 3:24pm On Jun 19, 2025
Llpsporksman:
For over half a century, the world was fed a carefully crafted illusion: that Israel was invincible, that its Iron Dome was impenetrable, and that America’s war dog could never bleed. They called it "God's chosen," a divine fortress backed by an empire that supposedly ruled the Earth.
But all myths eventually face their reality check.
In a dramatic twist that has left Western analysts gasping and Tel Aviv bunkers trembling, Iran’s missiles have shattered the legend—not just physically, but psychologically. The illusion of Israeli supremacy has cracked under a barrage of precision strikes, and now, for the first time in modern history, the so-called “untouchable state” is peeing in fear.
And what's the USA doing? Screaming like a panicked mother hen, threatening Iran, waving nuclear ultimatums, and begging for a ceasefire.
Why cry now, Uncle Sam? Didn't you want war?

🇮🇷 Iran Didn’t Just Fire Missiles—It Fired Truth
Let’s call it what it is: Iran has obliterated the myth of Israeli exceptionalism. A nation once seen as the apex predator in the Middle East is now exposed, its streets in chaos, and its people huddling in bunkers, unsure if the next strike will hit a power plant, a defense HQ, or a government ministry.
The world is witnessing what Israel and its Western backers never imagined: a Third World nation, under sanctions and isolation, delivering a military humiliation to a nuclear-armed state funded by the most powerful empire on Earth.
And here’s the kicker: Iran isn’t even done yet.

🛡️ Israel’s “Iron Dome” or Tin Roof?
For years, Israel’s air defense systems were paraded in Western media like ancient Greek shields—perfect, impenetrable, legendary. But when the Fattah-1 missiles rained down, they cut through those systems like hot knives through butter.
Reports show multiple cities—Haifa, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Ashdod—took direct hits, crippling infrastructure and exposing the nation’s internal chaos. The so-called Arrow, David’s Sling, and Iron Dome were either overwhelmed or bypassed. Turns out, billions in Western defense contracts can't protect a house of cards.
Israel has never looked so mortal.

🦅 USA: The Hunter Now Shouting “Ceasefire
!”
Here comes the hypocrisy at full throttle.
After decades of arming Israel, vetoing UN resolutions, and greenlighting every military aggression from the apartheid wall to airstrikes on Syria, America now wants Iran to "exercise restraint"?
Let that sink in.
After watching Israel bomb Damascus, assassinate scientists, sabotage nuclear sites, and level Gaza neighborhoods, the USA had no problem. But now that Iran fights back, the rules suddenly change?
Suddenly it’s a “global crisis.” Suddenly there’s talk of “escalation.” Suddenly, Uncle Sam is crying and rattling its sabers.
Why? Because for the first time, its bulldog is being mauled in the open, and the neighborhood isn’t afraid anymore.

🤖 The Real Panic: A Shift in Global Power

This isn’t just about missiles—this is about the collapse of Western moral authority. Iran’s counterstrikes have opened Pandora’s box:
• The Arab street is erupting in support of Tehran, not Tel Aviv.
• Turkey, Qatar, and even some Gulf states are quietly distancing themselves from Israel.
• The Global South is watching, learning: maybe the empire isn’t invincible after all.
The USA is not crying for peace—it’s crying for control. Because the beast they trained for chaos is now facing chaos itself.

📉 Israel: The Beginning of the End
?
Let’s be honest—Israel was never built to survive without American backup. Its economy, military, intelligence, and political dominance were always tethered to Washington. But now, as its cities burn and its security elite scramble, the American leash looks frayed.
And Iran? Far from collapsing, it’s growing in influence. Its proxies are stronger. Its missiles are smarter. And its boldness? Unmatched.
In truth, Iran just redefined asymmetric warfare—and exposed the limits of both Israeli and American dominance.

😏 Why Cry Now?

You wanted war, remember? You sold the weapons. You funded the campaigns. You shut down diplomacy. You silenced international voices. You empowered the beast and watched it devour the region.
Now that the tables have turned, you cry for ceasefire?
Too late.
The resistance you laughed at, sanctioned, and demonized now holds the initiative. The hunter’s attack dog is wounded, and the jungle smells blood.

🌍 The Earthquake is Coming

What the West fears most is not Iran’s missile payloads—it’s the global political earthquake they’ve triggered. For decades, the West ruled by fear. But now, it rules by pretense. And the veil is falling.
What’s next? A world where Israel is just another state—not above the law, not beyond criticism, and no longer bulletproof.
A world where the U.S. can no longer pick winners and losers in the global south. A world where multipolarity isn’t a dream—it’s a missile away.
And that, dear reader, is what they’re really crying about.

This man is full of wisdom, he brought together all past and current Governors of Benue, including the traditional rulers as part of committee for a lasting solution. As part of the committee, Governors of neighboring states were also included, it shows the President 's deep knowledge of security mechanism, you cannot always watch over your own roof, you need your neighbors to watch over each other's roof. Ordinarily, these affected states should have a common channel for sharing Intel among themselves, fighting insecurity individually wouldn't be much effective. May God bless Nigeria.

It is hunger that would make people do that. I can never let my child stand under the rain to great a human like me. Again, not in this time that the state should be sober.

Did Benue state vote APC? If they did, then they are reaping what they have sown. That aside, the statement made by the president is actually insensitive. Reconcile with people who come to kill you at night when you are sleeping? Instead, those people should be hunted down and killed, instead of talking about reconciling.

They fight for their freedom nothing less than that. The agreement with Israelis and the Palestinian Libration Organisation PLO to implement a two-state known as Oslo Accords is the sole instigator of the 7th Oct attack, world knows that but the OP is not aware.

A lot of people here would not point any finger on Israel's injustice on the Palestinian people rather they will be driven by hatred and prejudice against Palestines because of them being Arabs or Muslims.

These types of people are many in this house. Wanting justice in their own country and wanting injustice in another person's country just because of prejudice.

Let's have some concerns and avoid double standards.
Have you asked yourself that why are muslims hated? Who always instigates trouble when they feel they are in a position of power? Why is there no peace when muslims are to live side by side with other religions? Muslim with Hindu, Muslim with Christians, Muslim with Buddism.... It is because unlike other religions that teaches tolerance and harmony with others, Islam teaches intolerance and hatred of other religions.

Religion itself is a construct of man to explain his existence and his purpose here and to guide morality. Let's think about life beyond religion and embrace the humanity side of us.

Look around you son, some of your neighbors can't even feed well let alone afford to run to the hospital because of feverish feelings.

I totally understand your point of view as our health insurance system should have tackled this issue in Nigeria. At this stage we are in Nigeria, out of pocket spending for healthcare should be totally eliminated considering the current economic realities we are going through at the moment.
