Fountainofyouth: Just take a look at your reasoning, you want to compare these few females to millions of male looters past and present?
Tinubu, Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, Peter Obi, former Minister of aviation and the fake Nigerian Air Hadi Sirika, Yahaya Bello, Dazuki, Farouk of NSSDPRA, Atiku-in-chief of looting, Emefiele, Malami, and so many more
In fact all male politicians are everlasting thieves, kleptomaniacs,
Females will rule Nigeria very soon. All Nigerian politicians are thieves. Male & female alike. |

Kaliningrad: In my opinion they are the best kitted and best armed military in Africa. Do you agree?
I don't think there's anyone on the African continent more armed than the 🇧🇫 Burkina Faso Army. They're a proper modern army.
Their kits and rifles are specially made in Russia. 70% of thier military equipment comes from Russia, the other 30% from China.
When will the Nigerian army ever get to this level? Our soldiers are always dressed in rags, even the Presidential guards. It's sad. Silly talk. See pictures of Nigerian military here

nairalanda1: Many of you base your idea of regions on what you read about the first republic. The problem is, most people in the regions then lived in poverty and suffering.
Also, the problem with nigeria is that our idea of prosperity is wrong. Prosperity is not government sharing money among people equitably. Prosperity is productivity. Not selling cocoa and oil, productivity. So what's your point? Your earlier expose is theoretical and not realistic. Northern Muslims are sympathetic to terrorists. That is a fact. Northern muslims down want to give up the almaji system that produces raw material for terrorism, that is another fact. Northern muslim dont care for birth control, another fact. What is urgent is curbing the terrorists down south as we in the south want terrorism stamped out. They dont. The solution is a clear separation North from South, region by region. Let each region deal with the security problem how they see fit and with complete autonomy. End of story. |
Politics › Re: Why We Allowed U.S Forces Strikes Against Terrorists In Nigeria - FG by greypencils: 7:31am On Dec 26, 2025 |
nairalanda1: It's because you don't know why we have states, that's why you are calling for regions.
State creation was not because of 'hausas wanting to split the country'...it was because people were tired of travelling very long distances to regional capital to solve problems.
Even if we do as you say, it won;t solve the problem. It is going to take longer and more solutions than that...and that holds for one nijeriya or split country. By regionalization no one is saying states would be dissolved. It simply means a decentralization of power from Abuja. It means states would come together based on common interests and language to forge partnerships that would promote security and economic prosperity. The southwest forming Amotekun is a form of regionalization, the only problem is it's poor legal backing. Already there are regionalized partnerships such as the Niger-Delta development corporation and the North-East development corporation. Other regions need to develop their own frameworks and receive greater degrees of autonomy. |

nairalanda1: I don't support terrorists, I do think our government has failed in dealing with them
And the fact that we are relying on the USA here shows a failure of not only this government, but of past governments in handling the security issues we have in this country, as well as the fact that we do not have a coherent and proper economic policy that would have starved the problem at the root, as well as our failure over the years to fight corruption
US intervention also always attracts more problems, as history has shown. Not just US intervention, any foreign intervention really.
If we cannot solve our problems ourselves, then we better take a hard look at ourselves as a nation, and seriously fix the issues and problems that caused this. We must build an effective industrial sector, effective government at all levels, fight corruption, and develop an evffective counterterrorisim effort. We cannot remain on foreign help forever
The amusing thing is that everyone..from agbado to obidient is rejoicing and clapping hands for trump...and I daresay the atikulators are too. While it is satisfying to see terrorists burn to ashes, it should be us making them burn to ashes, and not big daddy US or uncle russia and or china and or france and the uk. You have written good English. The fact remains, the North is sympathetic to these Islamic terrorists. That will never change. The solution is still to split the country into regions. Let each region be responsible for their mess. If Northern Nigeria wants the carnage to stop, they know what to do, deal ruthlessly with all terrorists, beef up security at the border & force almajiri to go to school. Until then, this madness in Northern Nigeria is going nowhere. The urgent solution right now is to stop the violence from spreading down south. To do that, there is the need for state policing and regionalization. |

This confirms one thing. The plans to Islamize & Fulanise Nigeria is real. The US and Israel have received credible intelligence and like they have fought radical jihad in the past, they are ready to do the same thing in Northern Nigeria.
Ask yourself why the Sultan has kept mute over the murderous activity of his people. He hasn't uttered one word of condemnation against them. Ask yourself why the Sultan of Sokoto is keen on fostering Sharia in the Southwest. He knows Sharia in the southwest would provide softlanding to capture Yoruba land. He has his minions in the bushes with arms. The cities are still strongholds difficult to capture. Hence the use of Sharia to weaken secularism in the Southwest. With Sharia comes radicalisation.
I believe Tinubu still remains a cog in their wheel. He is very much aware of their plans and he intends to thwart it. Tinubu na jaiye jaiye Muslim and not a radicalist.
I feel, Tinubu is waiting to win in 2027 before he shows his real hand, the activation of State Police. A federal police right now will greatly help his election bid, state policing would weaken it. |

There comes a time when one just has to be held accountable. I wonder who holds Draymond Green accountable. If his person on the court is so toxic, I wonder who he is off-court. Who and what holds him accountable? Who and what makes him calm? Hard to say. |

Roland17: Did anyone see the argument between Green and Kerr during a time out against the Magic, with Green walking into the locker and not returning?
While these things are not unusual, I have a weird feeling something is going to give at the end of this season. I feel these locker room/ team issues are now spilling to the public. The body language of his team mates present like people who are burned out from his antics. Curry looked indifferent and passive on the bench while all of this was going on.
I don’t know but this one feels different It was different. I don't expect Green to be at GSW this time next year.

etidy: You're shying from the truth.
There was an asterisk on Steph curry's career until he won the last title in 2022.
At that point he had won 2 MVPs (one of which was unanimous), two scoring titles, several all stars yet he had to show his first title without durant wasn't a fluke.
The Greatest fact that supports the argument that another title will change Durant's legacy is that it will immediately move him up from being Top 15 to top 7 or top 5 all time. That's a massive Jump. Another ring wont make Durant crack top 10. Curry in many circles hasn't cracked top 10. I don't see anyone placing a Durant above Curry. Curry and Durant in top 10 is displacing which legends among these 9; MJ, Bron, Kareem, Shaq, Kobe, Wilt, Duncan, Magic, Russell? I deliberately left Bird and Olajuwon out of the top 10. You would have to choose one between Curry and Durant to fill in the 10th position and that is the very best shot, no more. |

Nigeria we have to control our birth rate and high population The north will do nothing about unregulated childbirths and almajiri. History has already proven that.
