heykims: No, I applied for visa 3 weeks after I removed my POF. I couldn't apply for visa immediately my POF matured because I ran out of funds. I had to source for money to apply later. And you used the exact same bank statement from the last 3 weeks? That's interesting. |

Teamfrosh1201: Buh the money was still in the account the whole time ? It should be because they typically contact the bank to verify. |

Teamfrosh1201: Best thing is to print it when you are ready to apply for visa to avoid story that touch. Because even if you print before you are ready to apply for visa, you will need to leave the money in the account incase the ukvi wants to confirm from the bank. Yeah, I plan on leaving it there until after I get a visa decision. But there's no way I can guarantee the exchange rate won't mess things up. |

schweinsteiger: Here's how's calculated, the lowest amount on your account statement on the day you submitted.
That's what I'm kinda phasing, because the school won't issue CAS because of exchange rate going up. The school told you this directly? |

Teamfrosh1201: @ 2073/£, Does the rate still meet up with your financial requirement as at today ?? Yes, it does. It needs to be 2083 for it to fall below my requirements. |

It's gone up again.
If you already have a bank statement where you met the 28-day threshold, can you wait for the rate to go down before submitting your visa application?
Would that bank statement still be valid to use?

NEROSKY: You can use the same statement you submitted for CAS, but I think the validity is 31 days.(I stand to be corrected)
Yes, the rate in my account has been demolished because of the delays. I hope it works out and you get your CAS soon. Not everything in this country has to keep going against us. |

NEROSKY: Yes you're correct(Its calculated based on the amount the day you submit your application), I get to learn that when I submitted my statement, this is my 3rd week waiting for my CAS.. I submitted when it was 1885 now is over 2k...
Never knew I have to suffer emotional pains waiting for CAS, I thought that would only happen waiting for Visa. Which school? So, we're basically in the same boat here. Did the exchange rate absorb the funds in your account? Because I wanted to know if you can use the same statement for the visa application regardless of how the rate misbehaves. |

Teamfrosh1201: You are yet to get your CAS ?? why didn't you process the CAS the whole time you are running POF ? You should have just make it in a way that as you are printing the bank statement, you apply for visa straight up, that way you don't spend alot of money on owo bank. The school don't issue CAS before POF. |

Teamfrosh1201: Yes, they use the rate of the day you submit your application. Just make sure you have the required fund on the day of submission, you will be fine. Thank you. I'm just scared the exchange rate will go up again before the application date which will likely be next week after I get my CAS. But fingers crossed. |

Teamfrosh1201: I’m here to remind you of todays rate again, plan your POF according.
You are welcome. This is crazy. If I count backwards, My 28 days ends today because I started on June 15th. But I wanted to give it an extra day to print the statement just to be safe. I had an extra 1366 pound buffer. But with the rate moving bad, it's now under 400 pounds. But I heard UKVI uses the rate on the day you submit your online visa application not the date you print the statement, please how true is this? Because if the exchange rate goes up again on the day I submit my application online, would that not be a huge problem? |
