No luck yet. It's funny but shouldn't be. I mean, what's the reason for the delay this time? The security is in the local currency for God's sake grin

Since around 2017 or so FGNSB started, I'm not sure there has been this kind of negligence abi mismanagement.

Hmm. If the FG is delaying bonds payments, is there a possibility they can also delay TB payments? Interesting.

So I invested some time to learn film generation using artificial intelligence tools. I just created my first film inspired by the events surrounding the 2023 Niger Republic Coup.
Everything you see in the film was AI generated, including the soundtracks. I hope to keep improving though.

That's one of apc minions, that fellow has been saying that since the era of N600/1$.

Sometimes, I envy those APC people sha. Because I really don't understand what drives their optimism about Nigeria.

Most of them have been prophesying for years that dollar would crash and that "hoarders" would cry. But that hasn't happened for years. Instead, dollars keep going up.

Only a mad man keeps doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Catalyst will rarely improve your fuel consumption. And even it does, it would be minimal.

Better scan that car to know what's wrong with it.

I can almost predict there is no thermostat in the engine. Am I correct?

My car ( 2016 Camry ) started with foul odor, then after I noticed the AC vent is blowing hot air. I parked immediately. I later realized the there was no coolant inside the radiator again.

While experiencing all that, the temperature Guage didn't raise to indicate Overheating.

I was later advised to change the radiator to a Double Cell, which I did, but I'm still experiencing the same issue.

The car is less than 10days Tokunbo. I was advised to remove the thermostat and connect the fan directly. But I don't want to do that.

I'll appreciate your help. Thanks.

Modified *** 13/09.

We later find out, it’s a leaking heater core, thats causing the soggy floorboard, hot smoke coming out of the AC vent and high temperature in the car.

I was told, they’ll have to remove the the whole dashboard to get it fixed or they can easily bypass it.

Gurus in the house, is the okay to bypass the heater core in a Toyota Camry? And also what are effect of doing that ?

Hmm. Dicey situation. If they bring down your dashboard, that dashboard may not remain the same again as it may start making rattling sounds when you move.

Since we don't really use the heater in the car in this our very hot climate, if I were in your situations, I'd ask them to bypass the heater core. Or do you use heater instead of AC in your car?

But you have to be sure that your evaporator is not leaking as well. Because if it's leaking, you will have no option than to let them drop the dashboard, if you care for AC in your car.

You see, that heater core leak may probably be the reason oyinbo sold the car. Them no like stress. And the cost of the repair may just be too high for them in their country as labor is not cheap there. So they just decide to sell instead.

All the best.

Hello House,

What's the best oil change for Tokunbo camry 2016 ? And is it advisable to run the fan directly and remove the thermostat?

Thank in advance

Haa! You wan to allow a kazeem tamper with the engine of your 2016 camry? Not even 2006 camry. Hmmm. Nawao.

With the lowered rates, I can predict that many banks' bids would fail.

Like I predicted, Stanbic's bid failed for 91 days. Don't know for the other tenors.

I have been really down since I learned about the death of Gazzuzz this morning.

I bought my car from him in 2019. It's almost magical to find a Nigerian with his level of integrity.

To tell how I trusted him and his words. Prior to the transaction, I had not met him physically. We only connected on Nairaland. I didn't know what his face looked like. As we only communicated on whatsapp.

I also didn't see the car I was buying from him physically. He only sent me the pictures of the car and a short video. He just gave me his words and that was it.

I proceeded to send payment for the car and delivery.

He personally delivered the car to me in Abakaliki. All the way from Lagos. And we became really good friends afterward.

Today, I learned that he is dead. Can't type RIP to Gazzuzz.

I feel guilty because I had noticed he'd been scarce online and was going to check in to be sure he was fine. It kept skipping my mind. Now this. I even wanted to talk to him about getting another car. Sigh.

It's well. You can finally rest, great soldier.

Please what is the percentage of the secondary market for 366 days?

Secondary market may not come in exactly the number of days you want.

The one I got was for 168 days at 19.7% percent.

So you may need to contact your bank to know the tenors they have and the rates.

Good evening guys,

Please is secondary market interest not paid upfront like primary market?

I sent mail to stanbic customer care to buy 182 days treasury bills.

I got a call this morning from them that their bid failed and asked if I would like to buy secondary market. I said okay.

This evening, I got two debit alerts, all from my available balance. One was for sage keeping and another for transaction fee.

But up to now, they've not credited my interest. Is that how it works for secondary market?

Thanks my people for all the responses.

I was later credited around 2am last night.

High interest rates are the correct policy. Leave CBN alone.

Both those high interest rates have not moved the needle one bit in terms of stemming inflation?

Does this happen at a certain speed or at all speeds?

You may want to do wheel alignment and balancing. If you have truly changed your disc to new one and it's still happening.

They scanned the car and it was not showing any faults or errors.
Attached was the picture he sent me

With the faults you described, there is no way a scan will not bring up some error codes.

Even the smallest obd2 Bluetooth scanner should be able to scan that car.

Now your mechanic has scattered the gearbox already.

Look at even the dirty environment where he's working on the gear.

Sorry to sound this way but the chances of that gear ever working again is very low. You will end up buying a new gear box.

When I got my car newly, I barely had any repairs that cost me more than 10k at once. Parts were cheap then, by the way.

It was just regular oil change and occasional tire changes.

But the car is now getting to five years in my hands. And repairs are now becoming more frequent. Plus parts have become more and more expensive.

But in all of this, I still will not trade the comfort and convenience that car offers for anything else in this world.

I have been doing it for 12 years and the highest rate was 14% seeing it stop at 20% for a while now still amazes me. Yes I know inflation rate is high and other factors may have contributed to the sudden rise but pls experts in the house, are our monies still safe?. Hope we won’t wake up one day and hear stories. This our current government no get mercy o

This is not the first time we are seeing rates this high na.

During the early days of Buhari, we saw rates that high too.

Please house I choose to Post this here am sorry if am going against any rules.

I sent my account number to a client on Facebook he later said he couldn't afford my product.

After two days later around 12am I got an alert from an unknown person, the next day an unknown number called when I picked up they remained silent and ended the call. Two days later i got a message from my bank that " non delivery of otp on firstmobile has been resolved".

The reason am concerned is I don't do internet Banking and I didn't initiate anything otp on my account. Is first bank.

I want to freeze the account. Has anyone gotten such message from their bank?

I need suggestions please.

A fraudster is likely working with an insider in First bank to try to compromise your account.

If I were you, I'd move all my money out of that account for now.

@Grupo this is what happened, the mutual fund business of investment one was sold to GTBank when they were to attain the HoldCo structure. Investment One is no longer in the mutual funds business. Your investment is not lost. It's with GTFund managers. Unfortunately, their portal has been down for a long time now. You can only know what you have in your account by sending mail to their customer care requesting your account statement.

You can look the way of Norrenberger if you want to patronize more fund managers. The form is attached.

Do you have the email of their customer care? Or do you have their URL, I mean gt fund managers.

That is strange. I just opened a dollar and Money market fund for a prospect some few days back and it was done in a matter of hours. The person in question have invested already on same day.

Chat me up to see what could have gone wrong and for a resolution.

I had small money (mutual funds) in my investment one account some years back. I totally forgot about the account.

I just remembered the account now and logged in. And the account is totally empty. Nothing there. I can't even find the mutual funds section again. Is there anyway for me to access my money?

What happened before I go enter one chance. I don't have strength to be calling customer care or making complains

What about fbn mmf and those responsible

Exactly the same thing the guy I quoted complained about.

You pay money and it doesn't reflect in your account. For days.

You send mail, no replies. Or they reply after days.

You call the number they provide, and sometimes it goes, but most times you will get a response that the number is invalid.

I do not know about Fbn mmf so can't comment on it.
