Dear Nairalanders,

We are ramping things up. Here are some things we have done recently:

1. We gave Nairaland's theme a little facelift, fixing buttons, pagination, separators, and other little things.

2. We implemented a dark mode for Nairaland with the most intuitive UX: a sun toggle on your upper right.

3. We further relaxed the minimum character rule because many people were still struggling with it.

We are also trying to make our moderation bot (aka antispam bot) more accurate. Bear with us on that.

What else do you want us to work on?

Up till now, the Dangote Refinery has not told Nigerians the 'sabotage' 800 Nigerians did. If people want to commit such a criminal act, why would they need up to 800 people? These guys are just been victimized and unfortunately even the custodians of the Nigerian laws have shoved them aside.

I think this event has nothing to do with sabotage. The bottomline here is, Dangote refinery has many enemies and he doesn't trust Nigerians not to do their bidding!

Living in Nigeria does not give one superior knowledge of life and happening in Nigeria. Rather, consuming educated knowledge of happenings in Nigeria does. Even if 200 million Nigerian claim that a thing is so, it would not be enough to counter educated facts collected and collated from polls independently researching all those same Nigerians. 200 million Nigerians claiming a thing to be a certain way would not be enough to counter all that has been previously realized of human behavior to this point in time.

The problem here is, you don't have the data, you don't have the fact neither the record of it! Tell me one single poll emanating from Nigeria people to substantiate your claim!

Too many professors in Nigeria. Many are not even worthy of being awarded PHD. We can't finance such a huge number of professors. They must use their knowledge to generate income for their university and make money from there

I am totally in agreement with you! These professors are not 21st century professors! They are more like let me get professorship so I can earn a good living! What have they conribute to different sector in Nigeria!
