I also got the Quarter 2 message stuff.. Maybe more invites will be coming in along the way...

Lol. You might ght be right at what you said bro. But you saying waste 3 days......is like saying the organizers of the program are wasting their time too.. We might not know what you work or do, but am very sure if you actually have a good job, you wouldn't even sound the way u just sounded. Maybe you should just see the workshop as one of NBC's little means to give back to the society. Let me sound a little bit different to you now, am very sure if you might combine your annual salary at wheresoever you might be working now, I doubt if it will be up to a monthly salary of some of the dignitaries that are part of the Facilitators of this program. And what makes you that nk everyone attending this program are unemployed, that means you didn't even apply, cos if you did, you would have known what was filled on the forms during application.. Nobody force you to attend anything, so don't discourage others that are expecting to get something out of this. Life is all about networking, maybe they didn't train you on that where you are working..

Am actually speaking based on how long NDDC takes before they usually shortlist for their Postgraduate scholarship. And its not up to one month already from the deadline of this skill acquisition program. So, let's hopefully be expecting the shortlisting maybe this month end or early next month.. When they start shortlisting, it will be known publicly..

hmm, Ctrl C, Ctrl V abi. Please confirm your information first before posting it. And you were even saying it with much confidence.. I know NDDC takes over a month interval after their applications deadlines before they shortlist names.

But you confirmed your attendance by sending your name to the email that sent you a message then right? Try sending a mail to that same email telling them that you haven't gotten the venue address yet, maybe they'll respond.

They sent an email first before the text.. And for the date, it has been known since the registration. That is 8-10 Nov

Mr Nelson, I never said I deserved or I am owed anything - there is no need to vent or get ridiculously political like you have just done. Your tone suggests you have already given up and you are like ..... 'yeah whatever, the system is flawed, let's all deal with it.' Sure it is, but it is this sort of attitude that enables corrupt leaders to carry on as they have. If your issue is with dishonest scholars, then I hear you; but I am saying we - genuine 'by the book' scholars do NOT deserve to be treated the way we have. Are you saying they do not owe us any explanation?? I disagree with you. We did not ask for help to travel to the UK or US for studies. They sent out notification ads without any prompting from us encouraging qualified/potential candidates to apply for an overseas scholarship which we did. I wrote the test and attended a gruelling interview. I did not beg or solicit any favours. And I believe most of us did not either. So again your rants are misdirected and misguided.

I wish you are awarded the scholarship (and deservedly so) so when you get here and you are left to your own devices, you can come back and tell me 'to wake up and find a way to further my studies.' BTW, I have been doing that since 2015 after being forewarned about NDDC; but that does not mean they should not fulfil their payment obligations - so yes they do owe us something, an explanation at the very least.

They owe you no explanation and they know it. No matter how angry you get, you will do nothing about it. My issue is with the Nigerian youths and not with the dishonest scholars. All of us. If they tell you to come back, you will still do nothing. So stop responding.
Just deal with it. Find a way to sort yourself out. They sent you out there and they're capable of abandoning you with no explanation and that's what we deserve. Deal with it.

@Nelson, you haven't even gotten the scholarship yet bro, and are already sounding totally frustrated. Until you are left abandoned by someone who has pledged to offer you something you coudn't have easily given to yourself, then you will know that that person owes you something.. Come to think of it, why did you apply for the scholarship in the first place, if you don't have any hope of receiving something. If you really felt capable enough sponsoring your studies, then you shouldn't even be here.. Before they publicize for this scholarship, they are sure they are capable of handling the expenses, that's more like saying they are offering you something, and once they are unable to fulfil their obligations, take it or leave it "they owe you something".. That's my take anyways.. I really feel so sad at what most scholars are going through oversees cos of this NDDC stuffs. Managing for 9ja alone self no easy, come to talk of managing abroad in such condition.. God will help us all... Goodnight friends.

Pls you guys should stop sending your CVs to that email. That was an email they used for internal recruitment sometimes ago and it recently got online. The email has received nothing less than 6000 mails since the past one week plus now. No recruitment of such for now as they some persons just resumed last month for this same role @ Ikeja plant.
I know all this cos my friend is there @ d moment doing the training with them.

Hmm. But how true could this your affirmation be. Cos virtually all job websites carry this publication. Submitting ur CV to that email, doesn't remove any kobo from our bank accounts. If anything good comes out, fine, if nothing, still fine, we keep moving.

You applied rightly bro.. The automatic reply we got was about the recipient being out of office and would have less access to his mail.

I also got automatic reply... But that was on the 4th when I sent my cv.. I pray something good comes out from this. Let's hope for the best.

Use Firefox browser.. And make it passport 250 by 250 pixel. U can do it with ur system, or online..www.imgonline.com and change the dimensions to 250 by 250, then make sure the sizes of ur documents are below 50kb. And for the gif format, u can use a system too, or just change the .jpg on the name to .gif.. Notice when upload the passport, it loads immediately and shows..

You can only get cards at State Headquarters of GTBank.

You can request for new card at any state you are. Just go with ur scholarship letter to the branch of GT bank in charge of agbami scholarship. Or you can even do it online self through scholastica.. They'll reply you.
