Road Tanker Solution: Cargo Tanks and Cargo Compartments Monitoring, Vehicle Monitoring

In brief about DAFS (fuel level sensor adapter)

GuardMagic DAFS2 allows by very economical way embed fuel monitoring function for cars, VANs, LCV in vehicle monitoring system.

GuardMagic DAFS2 could be used to provide fuel monitoring function on passenger cars, "JEEPs",VANs,"pick-up" or light trucks (Light Commercial Vehicles) on which the use of professional fuel level sensors is not reasonable due to technical or economic reason.

GuardMagic DAFS2 is intended for connection car, light vehicle regular floating fuel level sensor to GPS-GSM/GPRS module.

GuardMagic DAFS2 read the analog signal from the vehicle regular resistive type floating fuel level sensor, valuate, processing input signal and converts it into:
- digital form: RS-232 communication interface;
- stable noise and pulse free analog voltage output 0-8,5 V range.

In general Road Fuel Tanker Monitoring System consist of t three main components:

special fuel level sensors with digital communication interface (GuardMagic DLLE1ct);
GuardMagic VB8 - special vehicle GPS-GSM/GPRS module. Collect information from digital fuel level sensors (located in cargo tanks) and send this information to monitoring station by GSM/GPRS network;
Monitoring station, that storing received data from fuel tankers and analyzing received information.

ABOUT GUARDMAGIC VB6
GuardMagic VB6 is compact universal vehicle GPS/ GSM-GPRS module for remote supervision of mobile object movement (vehicle, special machinery etc.), vehicle status, fuel level tank monitoring and driver identification function.

GuardMagic VB6 intended for remote monitoring fuel level in fuel tanks (vehicle regular fuel tanks), remote supervision of vehicle movement, monitoring of truck fuel consumption.

GuardMagic VB6 provides immediate transmitting or storing and posterior transmitting information about vehicle location, parameters of vehicle movement, condition of external sensors or external circuits, fuel level in vehicle regular fuel tanks, engine RPM, active driver etc. to vehicle monitoring station (special server) by GSM-GPRS network

GuardMagic VB6 provides wireless connection to the Internet network, connection to the Internet server (Monitoring Station) and transmitting information to the Internet server (Monitoring Station).

GuardMagic VB6 intend for construction vehicle “On-Line” monitoring system with fuel monitoring function, fleet and fuel management systems.
In addition module GuardMagic VB6 allows provide guard function of transport

GuardMagic VB6 modules support “GuardMagic Universal Communication Protocol”.
(“GuardMagic Universal Communication Protocol” allows to have modules with different functionality in one system).

GuardMagic VB6 is intended for function in GSM 800/900/1800/1900 networks.

GuardMagic VB6 benefits in brief:

GuardMagic VB6 typical features:
- immediate transmitting to monitoring center information about vehicle location, movement parameters vehicle and status;
- automatic storing data in internal memory when GPRS connection is absent;
- automatic starting sending data from internal memory when GPRS connection appears;

- supports up to THREE vehicle regular tanks (fuel level sensors with digital interface; RS-485);

GuardMagic VB6 provides to immediate transmitting or storing in internal non-volatile memory and posterior transmitting the following information:
- GPS track of vehicle (geographical coordinates);
- GPS parameters of movement (speed, time, acceleration, deceleration);
- Fuel level in regular fuel tanks (Fuel history up to THREE tanks);
- Active driver identification number (Driver ID)*;
- Panic signal;
- Engine overheat*;
- Road accident*;
- Car Alarm activation*;
- Attempt to theft;

- Fuel Tank Empty;
- Status of external logical circuits (logical input, “Event Button”).
- In additional GuardMagic VB6 allow engine start blocking (immobilization) function.

Main structure of fuel monitoring of road fuel tanker : TRACTOR + FUEL TANK SEMITRAILER

Tanker distinguishing characteristics:
- As usual from TWO and up to SEVEN cargo fuel compartments in fuel trailer;
- As usual tank depth is about 1500 ... 2500mm;
- As usual transportation any type of fuel (diesel fuel, petrol, kerosene etc.);
- As usual ONE or THREE vehicle regular tanks (depth about 500 ... 700mm).

Main structure of fuel monitoring of road fuel tanker "Tractor + Fuel Tank Semitrailer"
System consist of two main parts:
- Tractor components
- Fuel trailer components

In tractor located the next main components:

- GuardMagic VB8 module -collect data from fuel level sensors, information about tanker movements, tanker location and send this information to monitoring station

- GuardMagic DLLS1 fuel level sensors - Only if need monitor tractor regular fuel tank. Fuel level sensors can be: GuardMagic DLLS1a or GuardMagic DLLS1b (as usual sensor length is 500 ... 700mm)


I[b]n fuel trailer located the next main components:[/b]

- GuardMagic DLLE1ct fuel level sensors - For measurement fuel level in cargo fuel compartments in fuel trailer (as usual sensor length is from 1500mm and up to 2500mm);
- GuardMagic JBB01
Two channel "Safety Barrier" - Fuel level sensor electrical protection. Necessary to use Barrier support up to TWO fuel level sensors GuardMagic DLLE1ct

- trailer connector - Connector is intended for connection spiral cable from tractor (can be use standard ISO connector tractor-trailer)

- communication cable - oil, fuel, water, UF resistance cable (oilflex robust 210) For electrical connection "Safety Barrier" and trailer connector.
If necessary for additional mechanical protection cable be mounted inside additional flexible plastic tube.
