Nyesom Wike, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), has said Nigerians don't really know the personality of the 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, adding that his supporters are only throwing their weight behind him based on emotions.
The Minister also said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on a mission to rescue Nigeria, calling for patience with the president administration.
Wike also said that the coalition leaders are only interested in “rescuing their stomach” and not Nigerians.
The minister urged the Nigerians to be careful of “propaganda and blackmail” from politicians and appealed for patience and continued prayers for the Bola Tinubu-led administration.
He said many of the coalition leaders failed to deliver meaningful results to the country when they had the opportunity to serve, noting that their recent move shows that they cannot stay out of power for a very long time.

ComeComing: I have some question for the political guys on this site, here it goes;
- Is Shettima and Kwankwaso from different region in the north?
- If yes, whose region has more voting strength to the other?
I ask because I'm thinking maybe Tinubu has sensed that 40 or 50 percent of his tribesmen votes can't win him election. Note: I said this because Obi welds great influence in Tinubu's tribe than Tinubu welds in Obi's land.
And Obi is more popular than Atiku in the west, so he(Tinubu) wants to bring in a candidate from a region with great voting strength (Kwankwaso) because maybe he fears an Atiku/Obi merger happening (which of course will lead to his defeat).
Without being bais, any body that knows deep about Nigerian politics will agree that an Atiku/Obi coalition will beat Tinubu/Shettima hands down. Anybody that says otherwise is either ignorant or a mole. (The former coalition did great job in 2019 and could have won save for Buhari's cult like followership in the North, which off course Tinubu doesn't have)
If you notice, Tinubu waited until Atiku picked his vice (super paperweight Okowa) before settling for Shettima (I think he decided to pick Shettima afterall because Atiku's vice(Okowa) had minus 99 percent influence for PDP, even Obi won in Okowa's region) not because Shettima had any significant influence in his zone.
To cut it short, I'd say; any coalition that is not Atiku/Obi is dead on arrival (this is the only merger than can bring the ruling party down)
Obi needs to mellow down and agree to deputize Atiku. And Atiku should not shoot himself in the foot again by picking a paperweight vice like Rotimi Amaechi, if not tinubu will win by a landslide.

Briefly, that court awarded Nnamdi Kanu some compensation money and said that his being taken from Kenya was irregular. IPOB have been promoting that as a "victory" whereas it has NO BEARING on the terrorism charges that Kanu is facing and on the trial.

KENYAN COURT RULING AND AWARD OF MONETARY DAMAGES ON MODE OF APPREHENSION IS IRRELEVANT AND INCONSEQUENTIAL TO THE PROCEEDINGS IN ABUJA COURT.
As has become customary to the Internet megaphones and propaganda machinery of the the Rogue Biafra Franchise, the story of the Ruling of a Kenyan High Court regarding the mode of apprehension of Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya and the award of monetary damages by that Court has been magnified exponentially to deceive the ill-informed.
For the avoidance of doubt, the judgment from the Kenyan Court does not in any way address or affect any part of the charges against Nnamdi Kanu before the Court in Abuja and so that Judgment is tangential to, and totally inconsequential to the proceedings in Abuja.
The trademark distortion and exaggeration of the import of the Kenyan Court’s Judgment, serves only the obfuscation and deception objectives of IPOB propaganda noise on the internet and as some kind of psychological elixir to the ignorant and dishonest IPOB bandwagon, just as their bogus lies about Discharge and Acquittal by the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court did.
Even the Courts in Nigeria had described the mode of apprehension in Kenya as extraordinary renditioning outside extradition procedures, but that again is inconsequential considering the nature of the Crimes for which the accused was required to be brought before the Court in Nigeria.
This clarification became necessary as a preliminary response to enquiries from members of the public concerning the matter and also as a part of guiding the expectations of those, (especially the Igbo, home and abroad), who would otherwise have been hoodwinked by the shenanigans of IPOB Propaganda machinery.
Let it be recalled that there was a Court Judgement from an Umuahia Court awarding billions of Naira in monetary damages to the same accused person but on a subject totally unrelated to the charges against him before the Federal High Court in Abuja. That is precisely the situation with the Kenyan Court Ruling.

Akinfemmy: I worked as a photographer for a studio in Lagos. I started the job in January, and the studio was newly launched, so we weren't getting much traction. However, during the interview stage, the CEO didn't mention that there were no clients. He spoke as though there were already clients, and it was just a matter of me coming to work. It wasn't until I resumed that I found out this wasn't the case, but he assured us that we shouldn't worry, our salaries wouldn't be affected, and he was hiring a marketer. The marketer joined us in February, but nothing changed. Although we were working, most of the jobs were promotional, and only a few were paid.
Fast-forward to June, after the end of May, we were all expecting our salaries. However, the first week passed, and then the second week, so I wrote an email asking why our salaries were delayed. I also informed management that I was running out of money to cover my transportation and daily expenses, which might later stop me from working. I asked if there was a good reason for the delay, it would be kind of management to inform us. I sent the email on Monday last week.
On Friday, I informed the secretary that I didn't have any money, and I might not be able to come to work if I wasn't paid. She didn't respond. The following day, Saturday, I stayed home and didn't go to work, unaware that some staff members had also decided to stay home. That evening, I received an email stating that I had been terminated with immediate effect and that I was to return all company properties by Tuesday, which was just my ID card. I replied that I wouldn't return anything until my salary was paid. Note that I had worked for two weeks in June.
On Monday, I received my pay, but it was only for May. I went to the studio on Tuesday to return my ID card. The secretary informed me that I might be paid for June's salary by the end of the month. And that's how my unemployment journey started.
