@rowlandoo, First of all the most important of all is for your document to be genuine,Maple wont guarantee you a visa,but in as much as your documents are intact then you have atleast 90% assurance from Maple,their charges goes thus:

Admission: 50k
Visa Documentation: 130k
Then after your are called for medicals then you are required to pay $2000,which is the last money you pay till your visa is out,or maybe you will want to fly to canada in group with Maple.

@all,i pray you all smile at the end. and as for the embassy calling my dad's bank, all i know is that my dad got a reference letter with the statement of account ,stating that the statement is being printed for the purpose of his son's canadian study permit and it was addressed directly to CDHC. what the embassy do is this,they contact the bank head office and ask them to confirm so so account ,so the head office might now call the owners account officer ,so it is now left to the account officer is he/she will call the account holder for further confirmation.

HERE ARE THE LIST OF DOCUMENT I SUBMITTED TO CDHC,


1. ATTESTATION OF BIRTH FROM NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION
2. ORIGINAL AND PHOTOCOPY OF OFFICAL LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE
3. ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPT AND PHOTOCOPY(SSCE).
4. PRINTED WAEC RESULT AND SCRATCH CARD
5. LETTER FROM UNIVERSITY OF LETHBRIDGE ON THE WEBSITE TO LOCATE GUIDELINES ON THE TUITION FEE SCHEDULES, STUDY COST AND LIVING COST IN THE UNIVERSITY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.
6. OFFICIAL FEE SCHEDULE.
7. ORIGINAL CERTIFIED SIX MONTHS BANK STATEMENT(4.5M) FROM MY(DAD) SPONSOR AND PHOTOCOPY
8. ORIGINAL REFERENCE LETTER FROM THE BANK AND PHOTOCOPY.
9. A NOTORIZED AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT.
10. LETTER OF CONSENT AND SPONSPORSHIP.
11. BUSINESS DOCUMENTS.
12. Certified true copy of the particulars of directors.
13. Photocopy of certificate of incorporation.
14. LETTERS OF CONTRACT AWARD
15. POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE OBTAINED FROM C.I.D HEADQUARTERS.

LASTLY I DIDN'T PAY ANY TUITION DEPOSIT BEFORE I WAS ISSUED THE VISA.


I USED MAPLE EDUCATION SO THEY TOOK CARE OF THE PROCESSING FEES

God's time is the best. I was called for further medical test,owing to my medical history. I treated and was cured of TB 8yrs ago. Yet,I was called to go for further test and I was told it will take minimum of 6weeks to 6mnths to be sure everything is fine. So,what can I do than to wait on God? Delay never means denial. My God is AS'SABUR: THE PATIENT. He has his ways of doing things. If going to Canada is good for me,I will get the Visa,if not he will do something better for me(Maa-sha Allah I trust in my God and follow his will. Thanx 4 your concern.

Am mbj,
submitted my application on may 8th,2011.
Given medical with attachment of request for transcript on july 11th.
This was done on july 25th at yaba.
I was called on phone on the 19th of august by cdhc but was unable to ask it.
Visited cdhc on 23rd august but was told my application has been finalized on the 22nd of august.
I called ups on the 24th but told me the dispatcher has not pick it up .
I track it myself and discovered it was deliver yesterday.
I went to their office this morning and meet the dispatcher on arrival.
To GOD be the glory,i was given my trv wit multiple entry .
THE LORD IS GOOD TO ME,TO U,TO EVERY ONE.

Thanks a bunch bro! I've been to kijiji and made some plans for monthly rent close to school but since i still need first hand look of these places, i can't just pay and enter straight up. I was suggesting a motel around the corner , but still, you helped out a great deal. I'd add your info to my arsenal , Td trust, NO contract, and kijiji gives daily rent too! u r welcome, the issued ENTRY VISA is just for ONE MONTH, so they will wait for a month to the time you will be leaving, I had to go tru that, I took solace in AFRICA MAGIC, by the time u watch part 1,2,3 or all those nigerian films,, december go reach but guy, the suspense is killing,

Good point sir, they will have to email the school to get a letter that says they may be able to start late if possible, but if not, then you can ask for deferment,

but i would also suggest emailing the embassy and letting them know the situation, present your case in an appropriate manner, state your passport number and File number (same as the one one your medical form). When I applied to uk embassy 2 yrs ago, i emailed when they were delaying, the next week i got a visa, canadian embassy, same thing, as i mentioned here earlier they gave me visa twice, the first time was sept last yr, the next december last yr, when i wasnt able to go to travel in september.i emailed the embassy and gave them the reasons, they emailed back telling me that i should come to the embassy when i feel i am ready to travel (awesome right? ), then i emailed back, if they meant just anytime, they replied. ''one month to your start date'' and that i should bring the email they sent me along when im coming to the embassy, i went there december 6th(school was to start january 10th,i couldnt wait any longer), i went there and showed the pple at the gate the email, and they let me in, i was the only one in the embassy on that day (for real, it was like an holiday), they stamp my issh for the second time, cancelled the first, and told me the letter they issued with the visa in august is still valid to go with this new visa and i should just show it to the officer at the POE, so please, if the time is against you, message them(do not make it seem like you are rushing them to decide, but at the same time express the need for urgency), goodluck all

@vodka9tn49, Thanks for all the tips you have been giving on this thread!, i am still waiting for my visa and if eventually i have to settle for Jan 2012 start date will they wait till around Dec. before they issue the visa or i will be issued the visa like sept.then i can travel anytime before the start date which is Jan.2012, waiting for your comment.

For those of you in programs that have already resumed but have not gotten Visas, you need to differ your admission or get a letter from the institution that you can resume late. The embassy may deny your application simply because the date has elapsed. You have to be pro-active.

@delta007, like my own case on my letter of acceptance there are 3 start date in which i can come in sept,jan or May 2012.do i still need to get a letter from the school to update my file should incase i didnt get the visa prior to the sept start date.

I got response from CDHC after fews hrs. that I sent message to them. I was told that they are yet to receive the result of my medicals and that I shall be contacted immediately the result is received.

Passport was returned back to CDHC:   6th of August 2011.

Medical report was sent to CDHC:         11th of August 2011

Start Date:                                         11th of October 2011

@cuddlemii, can you pls. tell me how this medical thing work, where do the hospital in lagos have it sent to?, is it like they send test samples to CDHC france and from there to CDHC nigeria? how long does this cycling takes?

get the letter, take it to cdhc urself fill the form at the gate and c wat happpens next. my guess is dat it will triger their attention to your case. trust me the queue of applications is long

@babiechic, no the embassy already know about schools that don't require you to pay in advance unlike my school you pay on arrival that means i will have to get my visa first without paying.just add a tuition fee chart to include in your application.

@babiechic, i didn't pay any money apart from from the $75 CAD i paid for the application fee, the schooll won't let me pay unless the embassy ask me to(university of Lethbridge), so now have done my medical still the embassy didnt ask me for any tuition confirmation.so i guess i will wait for them to say something again!.

@chukie94,i am not worried about the letter attached,because if they want to call you for interview they would have done done on before medical or immediately after the medical, because there are some people that were told to bring along their proof of tuition when submitting their passport after medical,but in my own case i wasn't told to pay any tuition.so i guess we should just wait for our visas after medical so far there are no complications.

Congrats!, am really happy for you, pls.try to calculate it, did it take them 4weeks before the embassy received your medicals results?and i thought they said you will only be given just the TRV from here so you get your permit at the port of Entry, are you going for masters or undergraduate degree?
