Goodmrng all, i've been a silent follower of this thread and by d Grace of God my visa was approved dis mrng at abt 8:30 by d Chinese guy who was dashing out the blue form.

I really can't hazard a guess based on what you've written as to whether you'll be issued a visa. There are too many factors involved. It is good, though, that you have a specific event to attend that makes sense given what you do for a living. Your bank account doesn't have to be amazing -- you just have to show that you can afford the trip. Good luck!

My band of 8 was invited to come and perform in an African show in new york. our lead singer who is the head of the band has gotten the invitation letter.
However, i am a bit skeptical in applying for the visa together with our whole crew because I fear I may be denied since I don't have a very good bank statement yet as I just joined this band lately and still trying to build my account tho our band leader is sponsoring.
Honestly I fear I may be denied for this reason and that I don't want!
So, are we all going to be interviewed together or individually?
what are my chances of getting the visa and what is your professional advice for me?
